Waldorf Astoria Resort Grand Wailea

The Grand Wailea is perfect- full stop. It's almost ridiculously relaxing and the staff will cater to your every whim, going so far as to text you daily asking how things are. I want to go back!

Scenery is amazing at the resort ! Food and drink a little on the pricy side. We went to the grocery store and saved a bunch of money that way! Can't wait to go back next year!

The staff is top notch. Ask them how to enjoy your time at the resort and on Maui and you will get great advice.

The complimentary breakfast , afternoon coffee/tea, evening snacks and cocktails are a really nice perk of the Napua Tower

Friendly staff and nice and clean rooms ! Love the fact that there is a night club inside the resort (Sunami). Breakfast in the morning with a view in the ocean in the "Humuhumunukunukuapua" is a must

Make sure to take a stroll at the sidewalk adjacent to the beach . You can easily go to the Four Seasons restaurants and also have access to the luau at the Marriott

Great Hotel , my little boy loved the pools and slides they have. And there’s one beach pool with sand so it’s safe for kids to play around, great water park inside the hotel .

Grand Wailea is one of (if not THE) best place to stay on Maui. Service is exemplary, grounds are gorgeous, and is far beyond Island time. What a place to rejuvenate.

Phenomenal views . Excellent, friendly , helpful staff . Great shopping. Tons of food choices. Rooms are spectacular. Get an ocean view and upgrade to a suite for an even better experience.

Recent renovation (much-needed) has place looking great. Slides and river pool with beautiful beach in front make this a fave w/ families. Attentive, welcoming reception staff .

The food here (except Amasia) is very low grade. Do yourself a favor and walk over to the Four Seasons or the Fairmont when you get hungry. Or better yet, leave the hotels all together.

Order poolside drinks in the larger souvenir cups (Tiki God or pineapple ). It costs a few bucks more but you get a double for the price of a regular drink with every refill in it during your stay.

Really good hotel for relaxing with easy access to the beach and pools, the cabanas are wildly overpriced though at $125!

Hit up the slides in the pools! Lots of fun. Can be crowded at times. There are 7 pools

Great setting, lovely views , awesome pools. Even when full it doesn't feel busy as its a large property. Very stylish and revisitable.

Daily activities are offered here including children's program and Hawaiian craft-making. The canyon activity pool is amazing too with its slides, waterfalls and caves .

Great hotel with over 700 rooms but only 1 or 2 employees at check-in counter. You can easily wait 20 mins in line if you lose your key.

Continued, go down all the slides there not as scary as it seems and rent a boogie board $20 for 24 hrs!!. If you're looking for a good restaurant Monkeypod kitchen is the way to go expensive but good

Make sure to try all the pools. Adults, swim up to the bar in the pool & have a drink. The spa is incredibly relaxing. All the whirlpools are amazing in the spa .

Happy hour at the pool bars vary. They switch so figure out where to be when.

The Grand Wailea has a great salon/spa! Great pool! Very family friendly . Great way to spend a birthday!!!

Evil vacationers leave towels at the pool lounge chairs at 8am and leave, leaving no chairs for anyone else. After 30 minutes you can claim those lounge chairs
