I love this place, great diner with all kinds of neighborhood characters. Maybe my favorite burger in NYC . It's very old-school, well-priced, neighborhood haunt / local's joint, etc. etc.

I Iove this tiny little diner in East Village . Very local. The crowd is super old. But it's still fine. Everything is delicious.

The cheeseburger is legit great. On par w the ones nearby at more prestigious Upland, Shake Shack and Maialino. Get bacon on top, they deep fry it.

Serious pro-tip: if you ask for maple syrup , you’ll get a mini bottle of organic , single origin , small-batch stuff made locally in NY. If that’s not a revelation at a greasy spoon, idk what is!

I don’t quite agree with Nick Solares that it’s the single best in NYC, but sitting at the counter after a long day of work and ordering a cheeseburger deluxe is a hell of a way to soothe the soul.

This is an old school classic diner . Order the cheeseburger deluxe at the counter. This is also a solid spot for anything breakfast - pancakes , eggs , breakfast sandwiches . You won’t be disappointed!

Grab a counter seat and get a cheese burger . Fresh chuck, crisp char, and nice soft bun . Get your super juicy burger medium rare or rare and tell them to skip the plancha (aka don't press the burger )

Cozy diner that is no frills, but very chill . Go back in time to this small local joint and enjoy a simple breakfast . Food comes out fast! Very New Yorker

Pancakes , french toast , eggs , ham , sausage , etc... simply, good breakfast food , pretty good coffee (I like mine strong), and a nice atmosphere with friendly staff

They scramble the contents of your omelets with the eggs before they cook the omelet , which is key. The home fries and coffee are awesome too and they make bacon extra crispy !
