A quick way to judge how long the line is to look up before you enter. If there using the upstairs you can bet the line is at least a half hour plus if it's all downstairs you will be on pretty quick.
Such a great ride and lines are not that long. Get a Fast Pass for Indiana Jones and then hop on this ride. Guides are really funny and it is great for all ages. A must do.
Gun signals during the hippo scene: 2 shots, normal operation3 shots, unable to proceed (something blocking path)4 shots, medical or security(I.E heart attack on boat).6 shots, derailed from track .
One of the more dated rides at Disneyland but if you get a good skipper - you're set! They are all quite charming. Weirdly, most of these guides are male while Storybook Canal guides are female.
If they are using the upstairs to route the line , grab a snack beforehand. It will help pass the time.
If you want a cool souvenir then ask a cast member for a free map. It shows the Jungle Cruise ride’s entire route and features.
Urgh, the pun-full goodness of the script of this ride had me smiling and facepalming the whole time. This is a fun Disney classic!
While the narration is always a little cheesy I love how slow paced this ride is. I did not think the animatronics looked too outdated. Solid 7/10 Disney ride
One of the best rides at Disneyland. Be sure to ask for a river cruise map at the end.
Yeah, the jokes are pretty groan-inducing, but it's still a fun attraction .
Right before you go under the back of the waterfall look to the left at the group of natives. The next to last native is wearing a tribal Donald Duck mask. :)
Love this ride. Our captain was really funny. This is one of the original rides.
Try to catch the last cruise of the day. It usually leaves right at midnight... That's an unforgettable cruise . Just go and see what happens
This is a quick trip down a lazy river filled with recycled jokes and skippers who don't take the script too seriously. For that reason its a MUST on your visit. The humor had me smiling.
The Christmas cruise is the Jingle Cruise . The Christmas declarations throughout the ride are great.
Skipper Jeremy is damn awesome. Start to finish the best ride experience with the most amazingly lame jokes in existence.
Don't take it serious, enjoy the cheese jokes , play along with the skipper , and have a good time.
Good for a quick relaxing ride, line is usually short and the jokes are dry yet too funny. One of the best overlooked rides in the park , you gotta ride it.
A Disney classic this ride is hit or miss, it all depends on how good your guide is (i.e. the quality of their joke delivery )
Now go rub the Magic Lamp in the store across from Jungle Cruise – for $1 you can rub the lamp and hear funny jokes ...
Great ride, as each skipper is a little different.
One of the most important stops on any trip to Disneyland. Gotta see the back side of water!
This ride is only as good as the driver you get. First time I went I had a very enthusiastic driver who made it fun. Since then...not so much.
The guide is pretty funny. Neat scenery on the tour .
Must go before Sunset ...they turn off the waterfall at night so people who "may get wet" don't get wet... It's super lame with it off too!!
It’s more fun at night as you can’t see the outdated animatronics as well .
If the lines are really long and you have to go upstairs, make sure to stay on the left side, it always seems to go faster.
When the line splits... ALWAYS go left! It will always go fastest.
The skippers always do an excellent job! Hilarious !
Ask the boat driver to take you the "secret way". You'll see.
The only place you can see the 8th wonder of the world!!! The backside of water!!
Your experience all depends on your tour guide
You can totally smell sugar cookies where the monkeys have raised the baking supplies.
Cute ride! Only wish the animals had been real...
The tour is very fun at the jungle
Never play poker in the jungle, because there are a lot of cheetahs out there. If they tell you any differently, they must be a lion.
We were here for Christmas . The Jingle Cruise is a must see.
Make sure to take pictures of the elephants. They have their trunks on.
Kevin is THE BEST Skipper EVER ! If you get him... Give him a good applause!
Original to the Park opening in 1955, this boat ride is a favorite! FUN FACT: Each of the scenes here is taken from the True-Life Adventure Film Series that Walt Disney produced in the early 1960's
Watch your step and watch your head. If you miss your step and hit your head, watch your language!
If you look real hard you can spit plenty of wildlife in the jungle.
The song they sing to you for happy birthday is hilarious !
Ask for Brice! Best Skipper in denial.
Lower your head and watch your step. But if you miss your step and hit your head, watch your language.
You can fine the Nile here, If you don't believe me... Well , your in denile.
Shaun is the best skipper I have ever had. Seriously. He is HILARIOUS. Request him!
I have never seen such a maze of a line , and so many people crammed into one area before! Gahhh
White guy with the glasses named Kevin is the best skipper !
Are those Britney Natives? They must be because they're holding Britney Spears. If we're lucky, they'll keep holding her.
All the plants around Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters are edible garden items! - Derek "d☊rewreck" Schaefer
Often a shorter line than other rides in the area - Christian Feng
Love, love, love this ride. Anywhere you sit is a great place. - Sam Aceves
Fun, relaxing ride. One of the better dark rides in the park. I do wish they'd cut back some of the Jack Sparrow content, though. - Erika Robbins
