Expect plenty of snacks (mushroom burrata arancini , salt & pepper fries , $10), innovative cocktails ($16) like the Walter + Savannah (Michter's bourbon , walnut syrup , peach ) and a killer Manhattan . Read more
Very cool place. New in the area, moderate noise level but still good to talk. Snail as starter is great. Grilled wild mushrooms and cauliflower are great. Entree are all good. Had a nice meal.
The menu is full of American crowd-pleasers, but also includes several Italian-influenced dishes like porchetta with escarole , calf's brains with capers and lemon , and squash gnudi with Parmesan .
Get the BLT with burrata , lardo , shaved white truffles , and a sunny-side-up egg ($38), as well as a handmade spaghetti with Parmesan and truffle two ways, shaved over top and in a rich butter ($45). Read more
Whiskey fan? You can get your intake in a cocktail form as well as dessert form (caramel pudding w/ bourbon whipped cream + pretzel crumble). For 2 ppl or less, request the chef's table in the back.
Great new spot on W 57th St! Great food! Hot bar ! Pool in the basement . In new Viceroy Hotel ! Next to the shabby, horrible Le Meridien Hotel
They have a great private room here on the lower level for events .
Muffuletta burger was seriously good, and even better (somehow) heated up the next day. Get the peach and bourbon cocktail for a drink. Skip the fluke and toasted quinoa crudo (mushy, blah).
Great for a drink and a quick bite after catching a recital at Carnegie Hall! Bustling and dimly lit with an inventive cocktail menu and good small plates .
Big eye tuna roll is delicious. Sit at the bar and enjoy people watching out onto 57th. Great spot.
Marc Murphy (Ditch Plains, Landmarc ) ...seriously stepped-up American bistro fare, including bone marrow slowly topped with roasted snails & garlic butter , and a grilled skirt steak with chimichurri .
http://www.burgerweekly.com/kingside/ A more “sophisticated” and expensive burger than the ones at Landmarc and Ditch Plains, come to Kingside for the atmosphere and stay for the delicious beef .
The Bitches say: C-. The chic decor and great service is on par with Viceroy standards. But with so many fantastic dining options in NYC, I wouldn’t go out of my way to brunch at Kingside with locals. Read more
Enjoyed breakfast there. Poached Eggs , hauntingly amazing homemade fries (mini potatoes ), crumpet , salad .
Great brunch . Try the kale salad and the fried oyster sandwich . and say yes to the bread basket ! Freshly baked bread with lardo . So good!
Absolutely loved the octopus/chorizo combo. Also the escargots/bone marrow is very good. I can't wait to come back and try more!
The ambiance is the only positive. The servers have no knowledge of the menu or cocktails , encourage redundant orders, forget to send orders to the kitchen, and we had to ask the host for our check.
A bargain for $16: Hay-aged pecorino toast adorned with creamy ricotta and drizzled in truffle honey Read more
Try the grilled kale , porchetta and roasted chicken , or if you're up for it, the lamb drains seasoned with capers . The bold black and white design will have you mesmerized.
Belly up to this sleek bar for late-night drinks including specialty cocktails , wine by the quartino and cava/prosecco/champagne by the split.
The drinks are the best in the city . Try the Aviation, midnight Tryst or the Spicy Paloma for something unique and tasty.
Grilled Skirt Steak , french fries , and pan roasted scallops are outstanding. Great service and great food
The kale salad , the salt and pepper fries , and any of the whiskey cocktails ????????
Food was a little bland, but the service was top notch. The atmosphere was trendy and relaxing. I would definitely go back.
Try the barrel aged manhattan and the snails with bone marrow
Usually it's quite crowded , but it's a great place to catch up when it's quiet
$2 oysters and the snail appetizer was a great way to start a late lunch .
Everything is great, but they have the best french fries in NYC
Pork shank & cauliflower were amazing. Kale and Brussel sprouts were nothing special.
Don't be deterred by the "coming soon" sign - just walk in the Viceroy and turn right
Nice and chill place for a drink
Very cool spot to people watch . Good wine list as well
Caesar salad with panini is delicious. Love fresh Parmesan .
The pork shank is huge, so why don't ya split it and then add some small plates .
Great people watching if you sit at the bar facing 57th street
Reliable service, good business lunch spot .
Breakfast pizza is great.
Grub Street: One of "11 Places to Find Fancy Hummus "
shaved kale , goat cheese , olives , toasted almonds , lemon vinaigrette
Awesome experience. Service was on point!
Amazing beet hummus !
Order the trouble maker-you won't regret it!
Pork shank is gigantic and delicious..
Best Egg Benedict ever!
Excellent coffee
Nice sushi and burger
Great brunch !
Caramel pudding . End tip.
The breakfast game here could use improvement. The food is solid, but it’s really nothing special.
