This place is simply amazing. I had as much fun as my 5 year old running around in this place. It would be best to pack your lunch to save some extra bucks.
If you're not a crowd person (i.e. want to avoid rambunctious field trippers who run into your child with disregard) I highly recommend attending the museum after 12:30 pm. It quiets down for a bit.
They have excellent school holiday kids’ camps for children 5-8 throughout the school year. Great place to send the munchkins whenever they have a day off school and you don’t.
Looking to entertain the little ones? Trek over to the Children's Museum for some fun and hands on activities. Check their calendar online for their daily activities and events .
We went as a family for the first time and the visit was awesome! My son didn't want to leave.
Originally operated without a physical location, they used schools and the community outreach until they got enough funds until 2008. Now this is what I call coming together for a great cause.
What a cool place to let your kids burn a few hours of energy. They will love every minute.
This is an awesome place to take your kids. I recommend dressing them in bright colors so you can find them easily in the crowded play areas .
The new climber is amazing and much of it is adult friendly . There's even an "observation" area on the third floor of the museum where you can walk out over the climber and watch many of the kids with
My 8 year old didn't want to leave. One of the highlights of our Phoenix trip. Definitely worth it, plan for 2.5-3 hours of adult down time.

Love this place, I wish I knew about it years ago when my now 9 year old brother was younger. Literally everything is interactive.
We love the 3 and under room when the museum gets too crowded with field trips. We have a membership which has more than paid for itself.
Just the right size: enough interaction for the kids, but still able to get them in and out within 2-3 hours

If you have an infant / toddler, there are plenty of things for them to do here. 3rd floor has dedicated infant rooms and most other rooms have a toddler zone.
It was SUPER FUN!! Summer time in AZ!! Air conditioning and kid stuff!!
