Parliament Sq London Greater London SW1P 3BD United Kingdom
Formerly a warren of shops, slum dwellings and alleyways, and half a millennia before that an island . Cleared in the 19th century and on its way to what we know today.
Architecture from the Elizabeth Tower , Palace of Westminster, Portcullis House, and more besides. A great place to people watch . Often busy with tourists .
A great spot to admire the architecture and scenic views of Big Ben and the houses of Parliament
Considering that you're sat in the middle of the busiest roundabout , it's actually a lovely place for a picnic in a sunny day
Check in at all the global statesmen / history maker statues in Parliament Square. Good spot to sit and eat your lunch and watch the World go by.
Located right in the middle of London's iconic landmarks such as the Houses of Parliament , Elizabeth Tower (a.k.a Big Ben ), Westminster Abbey , Saint-Margaret's Church , and many more.
Impressive views of the houses of Parliament , Westminster abbey and Big Ben (Elizabeth tower ). Usually some interesting protest camps.

Worth a walk around the statues and a great view of Westminster palace and abbey
If you go around 5 you’ll be able to catch a lot of new casters
It was really cool to just walk around... supreme court building, parliament, and more government buildings are located around here!!!
A good stroll in area and u can see the guards . But don't be a tourist and harass them they deserve better
Great buildings, not least Westminster Abbey and Parliament; but poor urban design makes it not a great place to stop: heavy traffic; narrow pavements; hard to access central green area ; few amenities
The centre of elaborated political and ceremonial events but nowadays more of a challenge to navigate traffic and tourist
Two traffic milestones occurred in this square. In 1868 the world’s first traffic lights were installed here (which later blew up) and in 1926, it became Britain’s first official roundabout .
If you lose track of time there's Big Ben to help out, night or day:-)
Amazing place, it is crowded in summer
wow. Until you stand in the shadow you cannot understand the majesty of it. Its is overwhelming.
A spectacular public square which is still a roundabout - thanks to Boris Johnson.
Big Ben nice place
Fewer demonstrations here than there were before
Great spot for people watching
Nice area to visit
The peace campaigners are peaceful , but the tourists can be difficult to navigate!
Believe it or not, free wifi . Find a shady tree and get stuff done.
