The best biryani in Singapore. Period. Very very passionate people who want to get the best food for their customers. Great quality ingredients and a place we go to over and over again!
Wasn’t love at first sight/taste but the fluffy fragrant af basmati & well-seasoned tender fall-off-bone chicken really grow on u. No gravy no problem. +Spicy chicken chop if u need ur poultry fix.
Well the review says it. Must try dum biriyani . Defo authentic . Chicken biriyani is better than mutton , still mutton lovers go for it, as it is kid goat and very soft n no raw smell. Kulfi must try!
Fluffy and fragrant briyani is a must try here. The rice was kinda spicy at 1st, but once your tastebuds adjusted, you can really enjoy the succulent meat (lamb/chicken) and appreciate the taste.
An awarded bib gourmand Michelin HALAL resto, located between bugis-Little India, I strongly recommend their mutton biryani , the tender and juicy lamb in its rice was fantastic #culinarySingapore
The Kulfi (or Qulfi) is a nice dessert to end the meal here. It's a golfball-sized ice cream with pistachio bits in it.
Mutton briyani is the best I found in Singapore so far. Try the ice cream as well .
The baby goat biryani is the best mutton biryani I have tried so far. The lamb chop bhuna is a must try as well . It's very soft and you will definitely savour it ❤️❤️
Big portion of nice fluffy-textured rice , but so-so portion of meat for the expensive Biryani in an old coffee shop environment. Dessert : Kulfi (thick creamy ice-cream with some nuts ) is unique.
While not the most attractive looking restaurant , Bismillah offers some of the most authentic biryani in SG . Try the mutton - you won't regret it!
The free plain water being referred to is tap water , available at one corner at the back of the seating area. An ice box is also there
Less sweet lassi stays true to their mission statement: "Making money is our secondary objective. Making good tasting and least unhealthy food is primary. Taste counts but your health matters most."
Having tried Yakader, Alauddin, Islamic and several others, I rate this one the best - Not heavy and oily like some others, even if it is more expensive .
Eating the dum biryani here is an absolute must. Cooked with passion by ex-adman Arif with fresh, (relatively) healthy ingredients , it certainly lives up to the claim of being the best in Singapore!
Their briyani style is the dry rice type, served without any gravy — unlike elsewhere in Singapore. Fragrant & spicy though. Just not something I enjoy eating again
Biryani is fantastic, one of the best I've had. Lime juice also very refreshing.
Mutton biriyani , kebabs , mango lassi
Baby goat Biryani , very tender meat serving with raita . Quiet good portion.
My $9 serving of chicken briyani was mostly dry, many mouthfuls of over cooked rice . Didn't enjoy this style. I’ll stick with Gayatri & Sakunthala nearby, or Zam Zam & Victory along North Bridge Rd
Moist, tender meats and fluffy-not-sticky grains of rice .
Better than what I have tasted in tekka centre. Hope they give some gravy . Biryani is dum n it needs little hyderabadi touch ????
Best Dum Biryani I had in Little India, hands down! Pair with the Mango Lassi and get the Kulfi for dessert .
Best dum briyani ever had !!!...the briyani is perfectly moist...one can just have with without any curry
Tandoori is tasty. A bit small. Serving hot and juicy
Order a kulfi for dessert and lick, don't bite so you can savour the complex flavours of the caramelised milk
All the Indians come here. Highly recommend the mutton biryani . Generous serving with great taste for less than $10.
Definitely the best biryani I’ve had. Mutton is definitely the best choice.
Really authentic . Cramped up sitting area & in Singapore humid weather, the place is not for those who love aircon areas only.
Kulfi , so small but good for ending meal
Awesome briyani . Try the goat briyani if you get the chance
Chili chicken and naan plain bread , its nice
For an established & mature restaurant , I’m surprised by the lack of communication between the cashier & the kitchen. The kitchen doesn’t know you hv ordered & paid for your food
Goat meat briyani is super expensive at $15. Chicken briyani is $8. Kulfi is very creamy at only $2.50.
Michelin listed :)
Mutton Biryani is the best ✨
the yummiest biryani i've had in sg
Would've been pretty epic if they include side dishes+curry in the biryani set. As for the rice being the best, I really couldn't say otherwise.
Great kid goat biryani ... best i have ever tasted including India !
The rice is really tasty. Good enough for Anthony Bourdain , good enough for me.
Briyani rice is softest around. But note that it's Pakistani style. No added gravy , quite dry.
Super popular little place. Delicious biryani .
Reach here before 8 PM. It's a small and simple place but food is really awesome!
Mutton biryani on M,W,F at $10, baby goat biryani on other days at $15.
they grind their own spices (The Layover)
The Biryani is heavenly of course, but u shud definitely try the Shami Kebab . It's amazing!!
Generous serving indeed. Pakistani based style.
Amazing biryani . Must try
one of the best briyani i had in singapore...
Recommended by Travel Channel host, Anthony Bourdain .
Amazing kulfi
Outstandingly good idli, medu vadai and thosai (dosa), as well as delicious chutneys and sambhar to go with! Spot on. - Neil Madhvani
Been coming here for years and always ordered the chicken masala, nasi briyani (best i've ever had), papadums, & mango lassi. Kinda expensive but worth it. Dont forget to order extra papadums! :-) - Katya S
I will highly recommend the idly, aapam and sambar vadai if you want to indulge in some south Indian food. Service levels bother me a bit but they make it up with great food. - Aditya Moorthy
