This is an awesome place to see giant sea turtles sunning themselves on the sand. It's also a quiet and relaxing respite from some of the more crowded beaches of Oahu. And close to great shave ice !
Smaller surf than many of the nearby beaches but still not to be underestimated. Good for keikis and the whole ohana. Plenty of parking and space on the beach ????????
Great spot to lay back, stand in the water, and watch some surfers . There are lots of waves, so you can’t do much swimming , but it is such a beautiful beach .
Great surf town ! Plenty of food trucks and places to stop along and grab rentals, try Surf n Sea for equipment they are a staple there!
From surf competitions in the winter, sunbathing and SUP in the summer, Hale'iwa beach park is a great place for the whole family or a romantic evening of sunset watching.
The very best sand around, 13 miles of it and great place to go surfing , boogey boarding or wind surfing .
Not as crowded as further up on the North Shore. Very coarse sand. Easy waves behind a berm.
We saw turtles on the beach & in the water here in the afternoon, around 4:30pm.
The waves are waaaay strong so be careful especially at night and if your drinking!! ????

Small and quiet beach with turtles and good waves for surfing .
Small and quiet beach . People bring tents and camp out for a day. Don't expect to get any food or rentals right on the beach - bring everything you need.
Sea turtles hang out by the shore. Look out for rocks that move.
The park is huge, protected from winds, calm waters , good for kids .
Once a month church here last Sunday of every month at 10am.. They have an Amazing service
Rent SUP boards at Surf n Sea. Lots of turtles in the harbor and down the river

The most famous shaved ice spot on the north shore. Line moves fairly quickly, tons of flavors to choose from. Loved the tropical combo with guava, papaya and lilikoi. - Meg Farmer

Beautiful view! Stop and walk the beach as the turtles almost blend in with the rocks! We went at sunset and only 1 was still sunning. According to the volunteer as many as 30 come here regularly. - Lisa Padilla
