Small cozy cafe and excellent dim sum ! Avoid the chicken feet , blood cake and cow tongue fish if you're not very adventurous!
Overall, Dim Sum King isn't as good as Ocean Palace or Fung's. It is cheaper and the food is ordered to your table instead of picking off of the little carts. The food is hotter but less tasty.

The shrimp dumpling / ha gau is good but the shrimp inside isn't as big as Ocean Palace or Fung's.
The tofu wrapped pork is yummy but the dish we got tasted reheated / re-steamed.
2010 Best of Houston® Winner: Best Dim Sum : Some of our favorites on the vast menu include savory turnip cakes , tangy beef balls and crunchy deep-fried shrimp balls !
It seems strange that some dishes come with 3 pieces and others with 4 making sharing hard. Everything was delicious though.
Solid dim sum for a fast meal. The fried shrimp balls are fantastic.
The beef noodle rolls are ok. Not too much beef and ok tasty. The portion is larger than most other dim sum places though.
The beef balls are ok. A much milder and less tasty version than what most dim sum places offer.
Call in during peak hours and see about getting a number to reserve a table. Its not a guarantee but it could get you seated faster.
Very authentic food. The shumai is on point!
The BBQ pork buns are disappointing. Not a lot of sauce, very little pork , the buns fell apart and overall just not very tasty.
They've reopened with more seating space!
