It's cool. You're obviously not coming here for the screen size or sound quality, but if you want a more intimate and old-fashioned movie experience , this place is great.
One of our favorite spots to catch an independent flick . The theater is super small and cozy , so be sure to arrive early to get seats.
Liked it more than the chain theatres - no ads (so arrive early), cheaper tickets, nice central location
Very intimate theaters. One door in the narrow rooms so you'll see every person come in, which can get annoying with stragglers.
Tickets are only $11 in a decent sized theater. Possibly even better than the Angelica.
Lower ticket prices ($11 for adult vs. $12+ elsewhere). Great indie film selection . Lower priced concessions . Spacious , clean bathrooms
Cozy little cinema for indy movies . The restroom is downstairs
Inexpensive , but very scrappy. Nice staff that's relatively quick to fix the unfortunately not too rare issues.
Nice for the smaller films but the theater is not much better than sitting at home.
Reasonably priced concessions ! Super friendly staff .
Very tinny rooms, but the movie (Xingu) is a must see for every Brazilian.
Bit of a rundown movie theater with small rooms playing very indie films
Good clean theaters with art house/indie offerings.
Very small theater but worth it for the selection of hard to find quality first run films .
Great theater!! Get there early, seats fill up quickly!
Small screens but comfy seats , plus pretty cheap popcorn , for NYC that is.
Very cosy and very cool!
Charmingly a touch run-down with great programming
Great place to watch independent or foreign films not shown anywhere else.
Big Bird, Tiny Theater
Great classic cinema !
Great small movie theater and great movie selection.
Nice international movies all year
Quait little theater. Has an old New York feel.
Student Tuesdays! Show your ID for a $7 movie ! :)
12 dollars for a screen as big as my tv at home.
Great spot for Foreign Flicks
Excellent film selection . Just be sure to arrive early - the theaters are very small.
Quite small. So is the screen.
A Serbian Film Rock!!!!! I'm sooooo happy they played this in NYC!!!!!
Tiny theatre, but near Union Sq & lotsa cool places.
Check out Kimberly Reed's PRODIGAL SONS. In this case, the truth is more incomprehensibly mind-blowingly strange than fiction. Read more
No butter for the popcorn ! Sad, puzzling.
были а зале вдвоём, в инете был сеанс Эми на 9, пришёл, купил оказалось он на 11, но нас пустили на любой сеанс
Brownfish film fest!

Delicious Trout and Spicy Sicilian Cauliflower - Jane Coakley
Big park! Free Wi-Fi. Perfect for date nights, nice view also. - ImSo_Brooklyn
Pulled pork torta is delicious. Try with a glass of red wine...Pinot or Italian red. Great combo - Ross Park
We're from Portland, OR and it reminded me a lot of Powell's Books. Great place with clever, quality t-shirts, book bags, etc. Stellar selection of books. Highly recommended! - Steve K
