I don't know why the rating of this restaurant is rather lowish. I loved it! It's got a nice view , good food and friendly staff . I had the halibut and it tasted really good.
Love the grilled crab cakes while the bay shrimp cocktail was a pleasure. The Cioppino is an absolute must and the grilled swordfish was an absolute delight. Great drink selection & on the water!
I only come for the walk away sandwiches at the crab counter. I love the shrimp rolls but sometimes I'll do the half shrimp & half crab to mix it up.
It's astounding how cheap the food was and what's more amazing is the quality of freshness. Between two people you can guzzle down a bread bowl of chowder and scarf a crab salad sandwich no sweat...
Best food yet ( chowder / blackened Mahi Mahi and fish and chips ) but the best is our waitress TAMMY !!!! Simply the best .... Made our day !!!
Sidewalk Dining is the way to go, sit out and people watch while enjoying the weather. Sourdough Chowder that is actually pretty good for 5.50, worth a try for sure.
The service is a so-so...althought the waiter we had sure was trying his best (and was adorable for doing so). The seafood pastas are good, pretty expensive , but good.
Don't miss out on the free Monterey Calamari Appetizer Per Table of Diners just for checking in :)
Chowder bread bowl lunch special is good deal , plus a view
Excellent service here. Even for a quick lunch special !
The crab salad sandwich is very good.
Excellent & reasonably priced chowder in bread bowl . But get extra side of chowder if you really want to make the most of the bowl.
I came to this restaurant attracted by the special, a very tasty appetizer . Unfortunately the food was not as tasty and the service was not friendly . I will not return nor recommend.
CLAM CHOWDER..............a MUST try!
Early week dinner . Clam chowder was good, they ran out of Halibut by 7PM soi tried the Mahi-mahi. A little overcooked and the California saute was mediocre. For the price not worth it.
Red snapper fish tacos are da bomb
close to the wharf and reasonable price
Lunch special : half crap with a cup of clam chowder at 15 USD is pretty good deal . Foods is ok.
The shrimp salad sandwiches aren't the best. Try Crab Station in front of Sabella's.
Check out their March Special on Guinness !
A cup of excellent clam chowder and half crab for $15 (lunch special ).
Buy the clam chowder !
Clam Chowder was DELICIOUS!
Indoor eating area to the right of Tarantinos.
Looks good
Best crab in SF.
not great but good. chowder was cold but service was attentive. good view
Yuck. Avoid the fish and chips . Hard. Fishy tasting. And even the fries are gross. This is from outside... can't speak for the inside food--maybe it's better. Its more expensive .
the food is sub par and the service is slow
...............
Outstanding ahi tuna and watermelon appetizer. Also recommend peel and eat shrimp. - Olessya K
Seafood of course and view of the bay! My daughters favorite is the double shrimp and crab! - Milli Parkus
Chowder is really good, the crab sandwiche was solid too, but preferred the chowder...walk a minute to the wharf to eat - Isaac Foster
Great views, a lovely place to spend a sunny afternoon watching the world go by - Jessica Wickham
Try the cafe for breakfast. Sourdough waffle is heavenly! - Christine Hale
