Absolute class of Austin upstairs in the back at The Driskill. A super Texas-themed decor with cow fur tables and chairs. Real upscale big city vibe, just far enough away from the dirty 6th chaos
Try one of their three cocktails with St. Germaine's. It's an amazing elderflower liqueur whose taste will haunt you (in a good way!) forever!
I was largely a vegetarian until, in a happy buzz from the blackberry smash cocktails , I sampled the bacon-wrapped dates. There's no way to ever to back after having tried them. #love

The Driskill bar serves up the Batini ! Roll like a cattle barron at this landmark of Texas hospitality . Since 1886 the Driskill has offered luxury and great service. Just don’t longboard in the lobby.
This is one of the classiest bars in Austin. Go during happy hour for cheap appetizers and drinks, otherwise expect to pay a little extra for the nice atmosphere!

The Moscow Mule is the drink of choice I hear, and the bar itself is pleasant and has plenty of seats. Wonderful bathrooms too!
Very cool old hotel . The perfect place to throw back an adult beverage and be thought if as the coolest person in town .
Grab a burger at the bar , enjoy a classic rita, and people watch for days.
Celebrating an important occasion and need a cake ? Buy from the Driskill Bakery downstairs and avoid the $15 cake-cutting fee. Sweets & cocktails - a match made in heaven.
So much to love at Austin's oldest hotel including happy hour specials in the bar with live music daily!
I'm told ordering the chips & queso is a touristy thing, but so is hanging out at the Driskell hotel bar , and it's still awesome
