Fantastic lor mee ! They open early so you can have it for breakfast too. Truly exceptional preparation for a dish that's hard to find usually in hawker centres.
Impressed with the 'lor' (sauce). Smooth, fragrant, light. They use authentic toppings like shredded fish meat & sliced braised pork
It’s very yummy Lor Mee . Topped with lots of fried fish . The braised egg also very yummy. This is $6 bowl. It’s big!!!
Be prepared to queue and be rewarded for your patience with a delicious bowl of lor mee that i rate as 1 of the best in Singapore.
2020 Jan tip - it’s now $4, 5 and 6. They also no longer give you or sliced chilli . Still good and worth a visit.
Their glass partition is plastered with certs & articles, incl a Michelin sticker. Spotted one that's dated 2007!
The gravy is thick and full of flavor. Vinegar and chili make it even tastier
The red one on the right ???? At 11:30am, long queue but fast enough. A lady came out to take order and prep
Breakfast spot . Queue starts early. This is 20+ persons long at 8am on a working Tuesday!
You can't miss the long queues - for me, the taste and texture of this is *the* definitive bowl of lor mee , just like I remember from my chilhood. Read more
Closed on Thursday. Open early morning
Best lor mee I ever had- excellent gravy . Long queue but they are efficient in serving so I didn't have to wait super long.
Best Lor Mee in town
The gravy is very tasty but the Toppings are a little boring and not crispy
Listed in the 2018 Michelin guide
Aug 2023 - no longer a queue. Reflects a dip in food taste. Still above average.
Having early lunch here and take away for mum to taste the lor mee
Fried fish taste so good in the broth.
Very nice lor Mee !!
Great value
must try if you prefer no crunchy type of lor mee that uses alot of fish
The Lor Mee is pretty good. The Zha Jiang Mian was a little bland.
Order $4 with fish
Now the version with fish costs at least $4.
Deliciously good!
Always long Q
Not as nice as last time. No fish !!
Its signature char kway teow (stir-fried rice cake strips) is served up with a medley of cockles, Chinese sausage and crunchy bean sprouts - Sikander Lhote
Wow, big and juicy wanton with springy noodles. Worth queuing for. - Elizabeth Lee
A good alternative to Xin Mei Xiang if u wanna skip the long queue. Taste is quite similar, although not as good. Also, they are very generous in terms of the portion. - Jonathan Lim
The prawn soup is delicious and the prawns are many. You will come back for more! - Freddie Tan
The stewed pork, Ngo Hiang, and stewed egg are cooked well and tender. The gravy is SO THICK! Overall, very good :) - Bernard Lim
Lao Ban Soya Beancurd - Unique taste! Extremely smooth n light texture! Must try! - Alycia
