Nicest ppl ever. I dropped my two dozen cupcake order walking home: a smooshed disaster - these were for my kid's bday, so my ass was on the line . Empire re-frosted them all and totally saved the day!

ordered the strawberry fields cake for my daughters christening. It was a hit! The buttercream is exactly how it should be: light and buttery. The cake was soft and moist. My go-to for cakes now!

The black/white and red/white cookies of all sizes are the best thing on the menu!! The mini-cakes are also worth a spin--lemon and red velvet in particular!

I had a slice of cake with passion fruit filling and few of the cupcakes and it was all yummy. Cake was still very moist at a half hour before close. I will definitely return.

The cakes here are all delicious! This time I got the chocolate cake with peanut butter buttercream and Pb cup pieces inside and a chocolate ganache on top.

Got my dad’s bday cake here—dulce de leche; the staff is really sweet. I tried the cupcake & it was amazing! However, the cake was overly sweet & too frosted . It wasn’t as moist as it should’ve been.

The people who work at Empire are fun/pleasant to deal with before you've had your coffee—rare to find in NYC. And the tip jars question makes me laugh every time. Also Stumptown coffee a major plus.

Wonderful passion fruit Twinkies. One of the few times when I can endorse something made with white chocolate . The cake in this is just superb.
