This 161 A.D. theatre stand three stories high and is laid in beautiful marble and ceramic pieces. Holds classical plays from May to October, and every belly dancer should visit.

Website said Oedipus (Sept 2017) had English surtitles, but it didn't. Made it unwatchable. Cushions provided, but no leaning back as peoples legs are there. Makes it impossible to leave a show early.

to go to the ancient theater and comment nonsense about the museum shows at least ignorance about ancient Hellas. Aristophanis is on of the best ancient comedy writer.
