Designed by architect Phillip Johnson for the 1964-5 World’s Fair , the New York State Pavilion had a brightly colored fiberglass roof and housed concerts & exhibits showing the wonders of NY State .
One of my favorite pavilions at the Fair :)
Amazing infrastructure. All I can think of is Men In Black!
Not open to the public, but there are people fundraising to restore it.

This is a Saarinen masterpieces. I love the texture of the wooden forms used to cast the concrete of the main structure. It looks smooth from a distance, but has an amazing organic texture up close. - Mark Hayward
