Beautiful hike . Be careful. Rocks at top are slick. I had tennis shoes on & my feet came out from under me crossing top of falls & I fell flat on my back & head!!
It is paved with asphalt. But some areas are narrow and crumbling. Hike is all uphill to get to the falls . Very pretty. No toilets near this trail . Stop at the visitor center before you go.
Great hike !! Narrow path for small children. Defiantly worth the effort! Beautiful Falls !!
Beautiful spot, but get there early. The crowds come thick and fast by mid morning on a summer weekend.
Amazing walk to Laurel Fall in November. The colors were beautiful and would def return in Nov. again
Worth the hike up! Not too bad for families! Strollers are possible, but it's somewhat narrow and/or uneven in a few places.
Always fun. No strollers too rough. Come early or wait 15 min for good parking . Leave about 2 hrs
The rocks at the falls are wet. Be careful not to slip and fall .
Crowded , slippery, take care around the falls ????
Sightings on my first hike in March: 3 deer(crossing the trail within 15 feet of us), a mama bear and her cub waking from hibernation!
Great hike
Great hike ! Lots of fun little challenging cut throughs!
Markers 1-11 show your progress to the top. Paved but a little uneven. A good hike !
Pretty easy, paved hike but it can get crowded at the falls .
Not a bad hike but it's a steady uphill climb the majority of the way.
Best hike for the family! Not so hard not to easy! :)
Saw 6 bears !! 2 ran right in front of us.

Go through the exhibits. The trail guides have useful and interesting information. If you’re traveling with kids get the Junior Ranger program. - Alice Hillary
The hike downhill is almost as challenging as the hike up because it's so steep! - Colin Lord
They call this 'The Sinks' because of the way the ground suddenly drops off and creates a hazard for those enjoying river. Many have drowned here so stay safe and enjoy the amazing views. - Brian Searl
Excellent hike in the Smoky Mountains. Muddy and a challenge getting up and down the trails, but worth the effort of the trip! Check the visitor center for the schedule of reconstruction of the trail. - Debbie W
Amazing, scenic and breath taking beauty. Rent car and drive around. There is so much to see and outdoor activities: zip lining, rafting, horseback riding, ski lifts, trams, free trolley, etc. - Sara
