Ventana Big Sur

One of the nicest places I've ever stayed. They have a free shuttle that'll take you wherever you want to go within a few miles of the property so you can sit back and have a cocktail or two bc YOLO.

Our room was cozy and beautifully decorated. We were in Room 59, which has a wood burning fireplace and a hot tub . The bed was comfortable . The resort ’s serenity overtook us as soon as we arrived.

Such a lovely and relaxing space with unreal service. The Japanese hot baths feel amazing and the rooms are beautifully cozy . Some serious r&r here.

Splurge on a massage at the spa , you are free to swim around in the clothing optional pool. The hot tub faces a grove of redwood trees and has coed and single sex areas http://bit.ly/Zr8zjB

Dinner at@restaurant is really bad, don’t so it. We were told the bar food is the way to go (burger etc) For a good dinner go across the road to post ranch inn

Even if just driving through Big Sur (Shame!) stop for a drink or coffee at Ventana Inn a seat on the outside terrace ...the view & magical feeling are a clue to why this is in my top 10 Special Places Read more

Update: nice room but $1500 a night and the TV doesn’t work and the best they can do is apologize. I will NEVER stay here again!

The Restaurant at Ventana Inn offers up a sustainable menu with an award-winning wine list . The patio overlooks the amazing cliffs of Big Sur.

Perfecto. Beauty. Quiet . Nature. Food. Wine . Mist. Sun. Pools. Massage . Very expensive , but you deserve it.

Not that impressed for the price tbh. I think there are many nicer resorts in the Bay Area in this category.

Saw Sir Anthony Hopkins at breakfast today. From what we could see- no fava beans on the menu.
