Apart from the views ,the other fab part is the journey in the lift down.At intervals,the lights will dim and the magic glass turns transparent to show the stones tiles from the different states .
So quiet without the public around --- political connections are a must in DC.
Closed to the public due to elevator repairs; scheduled reopening: spring 2019.
