The design of the place is wonderful, especially the suites and the service is good overall. But be mindful if you book a king bed - these guys think two twins pushed together is the same. It isn't.
Love Sofitel. The quility of service is high, the staff are very supportive ad friendly . Great hotel for a 1-2 days stay in Vienna. Still not everyone will adore the rooms, a little bit too hi tech.
Luxury hotel in Vienna, Loft restaurant on a 18th floor with a splendid view is a 3star Michelin restaurant . Service is very patient. Rooms are perfect to relax after a long walking day. Enjoy!
Great views and nice staff . The rooms are custom designed and smart, but the visual design is very clean bordering on sterile.
Start the evening with an aperitif at Le Loft , the top-floor bar of the Sofitel (Praterstraße 1) on the Danube Canal . There are great views of the city and the big wheel of the Prater fairground.
Locals flock to this Jean Nouvel property, on the banks of the Danube Canal , and its 18th-floor bar , complete with a rotating, multicolored ceiling mural created by Swiss artist Pipilotti Rist.

5* hotel is like a joke!!!The air conditioning is not working,the techniques pretend fixing it,they change your room and finally give you extra warm with another heater to survive in the room...

Great great place! Be careful when you make a reservation. The hotel reception and the Loft do not communicate as it seems. The view though is totally worth it. - Melina B.
It is a lot smaller than it looks on the website. One tiny steam room and one tiny pool and no, no sauna. Shame in such a great place we expected something a bit better. - Frank Sedivy

I loved this hotel. Service was great, internet free and breakfast variety was excellent. My only complain would be parking isnt free and cost 30 euros per night. Ask for free parking nearby! - kno1985
