Worth visiting at least for the astonishing collection of art : paintings by Correggio, Velázquez, Rubens , Van Dyck, and, of course, the enormous (3.45 m) nude statue of Napoleon by Antonio Canova.
Great little museum in the Duke of Wellington's home. Contains a great art collection . Ticket can be combinded with a ticket to the museum inside Wellington Arch, just across the street.
The Duke of Wellington’s home was known popularly as Number One, London, because after entering London through the old Knightsbridge toll-gate it was the first house you passed.
Great museum in The Duke of Wellington's home, part of English Heritage and so better to subscribe for £5 a month than buy a ticket. Free audio guide available, no photo's allowed.
No photography allowed inside the house. Plenty of nice portraits including many of Napoleon . Former home of 1st Duke of Wellington. Reminds you of the Napoleonic Wars and gifts given to Wellington.
Surprising hidden away gem. Can be done in a couple of hours so great paired with doing something else.
Amazing place, great collection of paintings and especially from the life of the Duke of Wellington.
London home of the Duke of Wellington. Better known as No.1 London.
Extensive selection of treasures
A hidden gem . Bit faded grandure but the artworks were a pleasant surprise.
If you've never been there, prepare to be amazed...
The address is actually No 1 London!!
Just voted negatively mainly for the whole advertise about dragging people out here and only after buying tickets they tell you you're not allowed to take pictures!
