If you've never had an africano , I recommend you try it here. Coffee is delicious and the staff welcomes you with a warm smile. Best way to start the day.

They’ve updated things a bit and now there are a few outlets. Not a ton but you can manage especially if you’ve got decent social skills. As always, the coffees are great and people watching is fun.

Espresso , Capuccino , and the Macchiatto are the best ...and try the Banana Bread ...Carlos and his brother Miguel have been here and serving me coffee for 23 years!

We tried the tiramisu based on the tips here and it was good! We sat outside and enjoyed the weather with a cup of coffee .

I love any place that serves Illy coffee ! The cappuccino was delish. Perfect spot for a late night pick-me-up after a big North Beach meal.

One of the few cafes in SF open till late. Go there for their cheesecakes and chocolate cakes . My favorite: the Tartufo

The best coffee shop in North Beach , run by a very friendly staff . The espresso drinks are well made, and the pastries and sandwiches are delicious. Seating is available inside and out.

All the drinks are great,not to mention the cannolis . I love to come study here however,there's only one electrical outlet by the window,so get ready to befirend whoever is already sitting next to it

It has 2 areas...I didn't know that when I've been there for the first time. The second area I love much better...it's not that crowded and it's cozy ! :)
