Has a service station which helps save time, but it's even more crowded now because the next closest DMV recently closed. Get here well before opening time at 8:15 am.

The service I received this visit was great. In and out in no time at all.

The best day to come in is on a Thursday. Never a long wait . Worst day to come is on a Saturday.

Make sure to check in cause all your friends will think you went missing after 4 hours of standing in line .

There's a webcam of the waiting area on the DMV website so you can see if its a good time to go...

They give preference to "not cash" customers. So bring your ATM card and get a better number.

Perhaps if Lucinda Babers spent more time trying to make this place efficient rather than try to implement the REAL ID Act, things would be far better.

Do the online document checklist and you won't have anything to complain about except for the wait time. But it's a DMV. Waiting in a long line is typical.

If you are paying by check, you MUST have the address listed on the checks. Starter checks are NOT accepted. You can also pay by credit card.

Bring something to do and the patience of Job cause nothing is ever quick, easy or simple here. NOTHING!

Talking about DC government is more efficient that's a crock of s**t. Paying all these taxes for no service

Came in at 3 to exchange an out of state license. Not that crowded . Got to the counter in 15 minutes and was out in 45 total.

You can feel the germs in the sweltering heat. Oh yeah its March! Awful air flow.

Arrived at 8:25am on a rainy Friday, walking out the door at 9:10am with a new license. That wasn't so bad. Don't believe the (negative) hype.

The sign at the parking lot will say it's full, but people come and go so often you can find a space.

Some of the most unhappy people you'll ever meet work here. It's pretty sad.

Got here over an hour early on a Saturday morning and I was 7th in line .
