The park features many of Washington's famous cherry trees , has terrific views of the city and is a popular place for biking , running, fishing and picnicking .
Starting a walking program, this is a must do loop. It's fairly flat and a perfect loop.
If you’re thinking of running along Rock Creek Park Trail , don’t. Track is slanted and pot holes all throughout. Not to mention the fishing rods and people blocking the path. It’s Unfortunate.
Great road cycling if you like counting in metric units: one lap is 5 km.
