Visit a couple of days prior to the Cherry Blossom Festival and you'll see all of the beauty without all of the crowds. Also, wear comfy shoes and see as much as you can.

Cherry Blossom season attracts many visitors to Washington DC. For a picture perfect view of the trees , stand across from the Jefferson Memorial , near the Bureau of Engraving and Printing .

Bring a blanket or beach towel, water, snacks , patience and a camera . Plan to stop under the cherry trees at FDR park on side of Basin nearest MLK memorial for some R&R.

We had such a great time on the pedal boats. Even in overcast weather it was an amazing site and loved by my 8 yo son.

Cherry Blossom during end of March/early April at Tidal Basin is a must see if your in the DC area.
