One of my fave places in LDN. Home to the London eye , and a range of attractions . There's art galleries . Workshops. Restaurants and food markets . Street performers . Riverside walks etc.
Where to start? National Film Theatre , second-hand book stalls, mimes, Hayward Gallery , The London Eye . As culurally busy (specially on weekends) as the great capital it is situated in.
This is a popular and busy area at all times of the day and all times of the year. Christmas markets . Food markets . Summer festivals . Theatre , gallery , concerts , plenty to do and see.

If you are a frequent visitor the attractions at Southbank or neighbouring venues. Consider getting a membership which gives you access to the "Members Bar " at Level 6 of Royal Festival Hall . Stunning
Films theatre music and arts plus restaurants plus markets and imax. Great destination
Highly recommend for gathering with friend and family after seeing the art exhibition . Nice atmosphere and enough sofas to relax on.
Go see your favourite exhibition on a Saturday and enjoy lunch at the street markets - Oysters & Champagne stall is my fav!
A proper cultural hodgepodge cooking on slow burn on a daily basis, just waiting for your day off, whatever it happens to be. Isn't that London's own definition?

The south-bank centre but also the stretch of river bank in front of the centre is an interesting vibrant place to see a part of the city

One of the best blueberry muffins . Coffee at Riverside Terrace Cafe is very good. However, avoid any coffee at the Member's Bar .
