Omakase is amazing, and they have some of the freshest and most unique sashimi collections - very seasonal - just wonderful!
Go here often. They'll create you a platter of delicious vegan sushi without complaint, and there's a lot of veg*n ippan options too. Love. Drinks are okay
Went because all other sushi bars I tried to get into were booked . I'm glad I did! Friendly and professional service , freshest of sushi and sashimi , tasty cooked foods. I'll be back!!
Great sushi spot . Sashimi quality was fantastic. Their cooked cod sushi is great (nigiri and black dragon roll ). Oyster and shishitos were better than normal
Taichi Kitamura is the terrific sushi chef who gave us Chiso and Chiso Kappo (now closed). If those were good restaurants , his Eastlake sushi bar and omakase house is a great one. Read more
The sushi here is amazing, especially the black cod . Don't skip out on dessert , it is on par with everything else you will have for dinner .
I only went here during the Seattle Restaurant Week as they have the best value of menu possible. Definitely worth it!
LOVED the Thursday Tonkatsu lunch set. Took me right back to Tokyo. Only on Thursdays and HIGHLY recommend.
Neah bay idiot fish netsuke - beyond expectations, as well as great chef 's choice sashimi . Sake list is wonderfully organized with proper origin indication.
My favorite somewhat more affordable . Not the most impressive atmosphere, but also sustainable fish , and always pretty easy to get into.
Sitting at the sushi bar guarantees both lively banter and mind-blowing sashimi . The sushi wares are dazzling, but don't overlook the menu of cooked dishes. [Eater 38 Member] Read more
The yuzu ginger tea was really good. All the food we tried was great
Order anything and prepare to be delighted. But come on the weekends for their Japanese style breakfasts and prepare to have your mind blown.
I like sitting at the bar and love the chef recommendations. Local Sustainable selection menu is really nice option!
Neat variety of dishes you don't see very often, and the fish is excellent
One of the best sushi restaurants in the U.S. for dessert , crème brûlée chestnut and butterscotch is highly recommended...
Fantastic Omakase1 And a great staff that really make the dining experience enjoyable.
We ate sashimi , sushi , etc... all was phenomenal!
Honestly it was sub par. We ordered the scallop roll , the Seattle roll, and a couple other things. The Seattle roll's salmon was minced and not great, the rice was not great, and lunch was $40.
The BEST Japanese lunch in town on weekends. Get one of the lunch sets and you won't regret it.
Everything was very tasty and fresh! Service wasn't the best though.

Everything we had was delicious
Good, fresh, and expensive sushi . Apps/sharing plates are small, and over-priced.

Minimal roll selection, lacking in basics - no edamame , non-standard (not great) miso - fish quality is run of the mill Seattle.. Shiku, Umi, -even I Love Sushi - are all better choices. Overpriced.
Excellent service but pricey
Have the chef 's tasting menu .
Try the Hou Hou Shu Sparking Sake .
