One of the most well managed and up kept hotels . It's ultra clean , loads of personal touches were added to our stay. The champagne bar is stellar; bar upstairs was lacking in spirit selection.

Where Cary Grant got into trouble in North by Northwest - and Eloise frolicked. Once NYC's most famous luxury hotel , now a hybrid hotel/condo. It was glorious in the 1960s, a bit shabby in the 2000s.
A big choice of different cuisines, a lot of pastries , cupcakes , macaroons , pancakes . Prices are high. Bit everything is delicious.
French Renaissance-style building; outstanding example of American hotel architecture ; visible from much of lower Central Park ; setting for Kay Thompson's popular Eloise series of children's books
Great place to stay if you're separated from your family on the way to Miami. Handily, it will accept your dad's stolen credit card as payment. A warning: Mr Hector, the concierge , is a real bastard.
Super beautiful hotel right by Central Park ! They have so many restaurant options downstairs- from sushi to coffee !
Todd English 's food court is great! Good atmosphere for medium size group. Order in spurts and enjoy a huge variety of foods tapas style . Get the lobster guacamole !
Wow. Everything about this place was amazing. Beautiful, stately ... Just amazing. Granted, my yogurt and granola was 25 bucks. :).
The service was average especially for it being the plaza ... the buffet breakfast just on weekends and the breakfast is scarce on menu .. blueberry pancakes are excellent
Great spot for holiday decorations. Palm court looks fabulous but something tells me it would be absurdly expensive and probably only average at best. Recommend looking Vs buying
A beautiful place for a classy bite to eat with indecisive friends. The ambiance is lovely and the food is great
Perfect for afternoon tea ! Make a res and bring your friend. Get the Champagne Tea option.
Beautiful hotel in the best area. The high tea is perfect!
Book early for the Afternoon Tea at The Palm Court restaurant in the hotel . The food is magnificent, service excellent and the Rose verve Champaign is tasty.
Fell in love at their afternoon tea . The chef 's tastings are expensive for a few dishes but worth the price, in my opinion.

The afternoon tea idea is a scam. For 117$ person for small amount of tasteless sandwiches , tasteless desserts and big pot of tea . Save ur money and stay away.
Afternoon tea is ????????one order is enough for three!
For high tea at The Plaza there are absolutely no substitutions and minimal accommodations for those with food intolerances (read: that grilled cheese with cost you $50). Eloise would not approve.
Gossip Girl types and all of their hangouts need to move over! Somehow The Plaza is becoming the mecca of hotness for the under-40 party set. Todd English , Warren Tricomi, lots of young/famous residen
