Like Ya Kun Kaya toast , every visitor to Singapore should try this at least once. Quintessential local breakfast .
The chai po portions are so generous, salty and yummy. Goes so well with the soft rice cakes . Guilty pleasures definitely worth repaying in the gym !
As a local, this is one of my favourite breakfast spots in Tiong Bahru market . Currently sells 10 for $5 now.
This place is delicious and a necessary stop on a breakfast food tour of the market
When ordering takeaway , ur chilli & chai por are separated. Charged 30-cents extra ????
Service was fast and food was tasty and cheap . What else could one ask for?
The best thing I’ve eaten in Singapore. Get 5, get 8, get 20 and don’t share.
Excellent chui kueh and also chee cheong fun
Prices go for 5 for $3, 10 for $6 and 8 for $4.80 now.
This is the original Tiong Bahru chwee kueh & the BEST!
It tastes good, but the auntie was lazy so she didn't bother to remove the oil. And no, they don't care about your health. So I'd not recommend this way of eating, it destroy you, though it's tasty.
Reasonable price.
The service is very bad notwithstanding that the Shui Kueh is good
Good for pre-meal. Avoid the toppings as they are salty and unhealthy.
Price now 5 for $2 ???? super oily ????
$1.20 for 4 pieces
Good but oily.
The price is now 1.20 for 4. Up from one buck
Good food, bad service. Especially in morning, the 2 aunty , 1 fr PRC, never listen carefully to ur orders one. Irritating
Price increased! Now 4 sells for $1.20
Best curry rice ever. Try the pork chop, spring, black bean fried fish (if available) and chap chye. - Shannon Low
Top 3 Lor Mee in SG for sure. V gd quality vinegar used gave a slightly sweet fragrance n worked perfectly with gravy n all ingredients. Make sure u enjoy the crisps b4 they softens! #ThomtoriEats - Ian Thomtori
Don't forget to order the glutinous rice stuffed intestine. - Benzie Dio
This uncle makes the dry version of rojak. The ingredients are not drenched and he offers chilli and sweet sauce on separate saucers. Clean tasting and delicious! - Feli xx
Their ang ku kuehs are one of the best I have tried - the yam being my absolute fav.The skin is thin yet chewy and resilient to hold the filling which has just the right texture and sweetness. - Bindu N
Real freshly squeezed orange juice! Focaccia is super! Also try the chorizo bread... - Martina Maitan
Love 02-16. Super rendang, sambal fish. Brown rice great plus. Sweetest people. - Shantanu Ray
