The lake is home to fish , birds, critters & different types of flora. Around the area are benches , bridges , trees , food stands , & plenty of photo ops!

Whatever season of the year it is, a walk around The Lake is always soothing and it's beautiful no matter what. Definitely add it to your itinerary when exploring what Central Park has to offer

The bike/run trail is approximately 6.8 miles if you start from the south side on 5th Ave. Be sure to stay active and run that ass off.

Nice place for running

Rent a boat for an hour and paddle around the lake.

$20 deposit (so you get back) and $12 for first hour for rowboats. Really a value for such an experience!

When rowing, face backwards and pull the oars. It's amazing how many douchebags don't know how to row a boat.

Take a boat out and do some rowing! Had great fun.
