Grab a venison pie and a couple pints by the bar . Punk IPA is quiet hoppy. Great ambiance with no football noise in sight. Great for groups .
Charming English pub next to a theatre , complete with etched glass work on wooden panels to give an old world feel. Ask staff to recommend ale on taps
Beautiful pub , food is standard pub food , fat chips are good, steak in the steak and ale pie not the best quality, friends who had the chicken pie appreciated them more than the steak and ale pie .
Nice pub with some good beer and scotch . Surprisingly good even if close to Leicester Square, no loud music , no sports . Recommended.
Absolutely wonderful exterior and interior with tons of etched glass .
Beautiful old gin palace . Great real ale .
Great old school central pub with good selection of beers on tap
great location and clientele...looks crowded from outside, but it does have tables out in the back! Cool place to grab a pint if anything!
Lovely pub . Staff is friendly . Wide variety of beer .
The pub looked so nice with the Christmas decorations up, nice atmosphere
Nice interior. I enjoyed the Greene King IPA very much.
Nice pub . Timothy Tailor Landlord sits as part of a good ale selection . Friendly and always speedy service, even when quite busy.
Busy but really big pub and reminds me of a good London knees up pub will be going again!
It looks great! We 'll enjoy!!
Beautiful old pub with tons of character.
Great pub with great ambient
Good beer (currently enjoying Mad Goose) good music and very shiny. Read the Beer Menu !
Beer , locals and bar staff .
Rather crowded , if you're looking for a Victorian Age pub try Princess Louise at Holborn.
Amazing atmosphere!
Awesome pub environment and they have fantastic veg food!
No loud sports or music , just beers scotch and good pub food .
Good range of whiskey
A proper old fashioned London pub : busy but recommended.
Great burger and fish and chips
Good pub , nice atmosphere, no tv , live music
Otantik icerisi ve Ale
A lovely pub in theatreland. I was there for a glass after a long time and it lived up to the memory.
Beer good, but lacked crisps beyond ready salted
The closest thing to a local in Leicester Square.
You know that scene in Trainspotting where it says "the shittest toilet in Edinburgh". Worse than that.
This could be a nice pub . But the over zealous bouncer spoils a nice atmosphere
Really busy!
Don't be put off if it looks busy. This one goes back a long way. And despite the appearances, it's not a Sam Smith's pub .
Punk IPA is rather good
Try the Guiness Extra Cold. It is very creamy
Good Cesar salad but we wait alot!!
Great ale , unspoilt victoriana, no sports colours. Enough said.
Ask for Wally, he's special...
the doorman likes to talk. a lot.
Ask for a Stella artois!
Stella black on tap
the chips were piping hot and tasty but the toasted sandwiches were cold which is a bit of a shame
No tv , no machines - a quiet utopia in the west end
Cute little rooms out the back
Great for a pre-theatre drink!
Service is awful!!!!!! The staff can't be bothered....

Nice pub by the river. Staff was very nice and they have gluten free fucking beer. Heaven. Large terrasse facing the Thames. - Mary Colette Natasha
Very nice fountain and gardens. The place is the heart of London. Extremely crowded during weekend nights! People from all over the world meet there! :-) - Andrea Lazzarini
The balcony cheap seats are very good value as long as you’re ready to lean forwards! - Laura McInerney
My favorite area, beautiful location. Close to Leicester square, and several great food stops. - Chelsea Bradley
