Come here for the lunch special from 12-2 $15 for sea urchin bowl or steak fillet w/salad. The evening is even better! Sushi , sashimi , Shabu Shabu . The ginger ale here is my favorite!
Beef stew appetizer is a great deal & a meal in itself. Beef is tender & sauce is flavorful but dish is on the saltier side & goes well w/ a bowl of white rice .
A subterranean cozy Japanese restaurant . Loved the vibe, duck hotpot course($50, tip included)! And cheese cake .
If you want to eat where the Japanese ex-pats do, come to Jukai. A delicate and thoughtful tasting menu includes an array of sashimi , karaage , oysters , and even steak .
Every time I visit Jukai, I leave perfectly happy and contented. It's the food, their service, and the entire atmosphere that makes Jukai so exceptional.
Just get the $55 dinner pf - w/ the Chef 's best dishes of the day ! Dishes are small & you'll end up spending at least that ordering a la carte anyway.
Cute cozy Japanese place tucked in mid-town. Love the pre-fix meal here :)
Quaint little underground spot that I'm surprised is not more famous than it should be.
Can't go wrong with uni rice bowl and black tea panna cotta
Great lunch specials but get here early to score the coveted Chirashi Sushi Bowl, it sells out fast.
Amazing sashimi , salmon salad was awesome
This is very good comtemporary Japanese restaurant . Course food is reasonable. You should make a reservation .
The best shabu shabu ! Good beef and homemade dipping sauces . Must order!
Can’t miss cheese cake !
Alaska crab ... Baked.. Delicious
Go for the $18 lunch special !
Jukai course was great! All 7 dishes were beautiful and delicious :)
Great hospitality and delicious foods!!!!
Jukai Omakase !
Might be an off night but food was ok and service was terrible. I'd have to say not worth the money!
Order the soba. Any soba. All soba. You will not be disappointed. Kame nanban (hot soba in daichi with duck) is unreal. - Cate Dunn
Curry udon, clams, and shrimp katsu were all fantastic! Order a bunch of skewers and plates, eat them, and then order a whole bunch more! - Tyler Simmons
Can’t go wrong with any of the Yakitori skewers, but the Tsukune chicken meatball and Kjng Oyster mushrooms are my favs. Pair them with a Golden Roll and a few Orion draft beers in a frozen mug. Yuh. - Al S
one of my fav spots in the city. skip the cocktails and go for the sake/shochu/whiskey. Avocado salad/fries/croquettes pretty much the entire entree menu are all great. - D C
