Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool is a fountain Southwest Washington Washington located in United States.
W Potomac Park (btwn Lincoln & World War II Memorials) Washington , D.C. 20245 United States
The pool, measuring some 2,000 feet long, was built soon after the 1922 dedication of the Lincoln Memorial; both were designed by architect Henry Bacon .
The pool leads to the Lincoln memorial so those searching for directions u won't get lost. And along the way there are benches to have a sit and take a breather.
While you may not be able to take a dip in this pool on a hot day, you still need to protect your eyes & skin from the sun & reflection. Water reflects up to 100% of UV, so sunnies are essential!
