The freshness and quality of the ingredients coupled with Taïm’s spin on traditional falafel flavors give new meaning to the concept of fast food.

this is probably the place I frequent most in all of New York City aside from my bed. the baba ganoush is just smoky enough and the pear mint lemon smoothie is worth fighting wars over.
There are 3 things you need to remember about the chickpea fritters . Green = parsley and mint ; red = red pepper ; and yellow = spicy harissa . Go balls to the wall with a three-in-one pita pocket. Read more
The best thing on the menu is the often overlooked Sabich. It squeezes fried eggplant , hardboiled egg , hummus , cucumber & tomato salad , & cabbage slaw into a fluffy pita . Read more
The mixed falafel platter for two, with baba ganoush added, easily and very happily feeds two people for under $15 with the best falafels in NYC.
Get the sabich. Incredibly good. You probably don’t need those fries though - the sabich is plenty. The date, life and banana smoothie is also excellent.

Our pick for the best falafel sandwich in New York. Clean , crisp, and grease-free, with great hummus , salads , and smoothies .
they are doing a guest chef series with one new chef creating a falafel sandwich of the month. i had the jessica kaslow (sqirl LA) version - delicious. and what a great concept!!
The mezze platter is so good. I go for the tabouleh both regular & quinoa tabouleh , hummus & baba ghanouj. All so good! And just a few falafel on the side for a lighter meal
They just added bowls & salads to their menu! The first one with quinoa , kale , spinach , toasted almonds , & crispy shallots is delicious. Add hummus for some extra protein.
Busy spot with only ~10 seats inside. Traditional green falafel sandwich "with everything" is filling and only $7. Delicious and quite spicy !
Taim in Hebrew means tasty and delicious, and let us tell you that it’s not a lie. This has one of the tastiest gluten free falafels with all of its vegetarian ingredients melting in your mouth at once
After you've had a few different flavors of the falafel sandwich (green and harissa are my favorites), go for the sabich (sa-beech) sandwich . Fried eggplant , with a sliced boiled egg . Delicious.
Go for the harissa falafel sandwich (it's my favorite). I recommend adding the carrots they have...even though that costs a bit more. Pair it with a smoothie and you're good to go.
Nice, but doesn’t stand the ground with falafel in Paris, Marais Quarter, ‘n forget comparing it to the ones in Haifa and Jerusalem that I had the privilege of trying. Maybe there are better in NY too
Green falafel sandwich with "everything" is solid. Hummus is spot on and authentic . Ask for extra napkins because you'll need it.
If you're not getting a smoothie alongside your harissa falafel sandwich (with everything!), you best re-evaluate your life priorities. The date-lime-banana smoothie is the best.
Any falafel sandwich should fill you up, but if you're really starving, go for the platter. Red's my favorite and I love getting a banana dates smoothie to go.
In a neighborhood where lunches under $10 are hard to come by, a $6.25 breath of fresh air in the form of the excellent, surprisingly-filling falafel sandwich .
Had dinner from here last night. Definitely a great alternative from the regular pizza and other NYC takeaway . Recommend for something different - make sure you get a serving of the French fries .
Most of the dishes are gluten-free. The Mixed falafel platter is delish and they will let you sub out the sides if the ones listed aren't for you! The moroccan carrots are also awesome.
Amazing choice for a Saturday lunch when walking into SoHo.. The place is trendy and the falafel is amazing and so green. Would highly recommend, nice size portion for the pita sandwich
There aren't many things that can lure me to SoHo on a Sunday afternoon. A Sabich sandwich and date lime smoothie from Taim is at the top of the list.
Fantastic falafel and hummus , just be warned, there is a TON of garlic in everything here. So, if you are a vampire, this is probably a place to skip, for everyone else, it is AMAZING!!
I didn't think a $6 falafel sandwich could fill me up but I was wrong. Everything is made fresh and they stuff the pita with a bunch of toppings (most of which are free). Great for people watching !
Bring a friend and get the Mixed Falafel Platter , fries with saffron aioli and a ginger mint lemonade .
"Taïm serves the best falafels in all of NYC. Their smoothies and array of veggie sides make for the perfect lunch that is equally healthy and satisfying." - Laura Jung, founder - @cityfoodie
The harissa falafel in a pita is amazing. Perfect food. Yummy and filling but not heavy.
ALWAYS delicious and fresh falafel sandwiches . The Harissa spicy falafel is my new fave, though the traditional cilantro is still yum.
Order mixed falafel platter if it's your first time. Only come with a couple of friends, or expect to do take away , seating is limited.
The mixed falafel plate was extremely good. Amazing place. This cost 18 usd each (with drink).
Spicy Harissa falafel with spicy peppers & spicy chili sauce . & pickles . (The best combo if you're into spicy foods !) #betterthanMaoz
the cauliflower shawarma is amazing - falafel is always on point, too
Falafel sampler is good if you just want a taste of what they have to ofer. Small and very crowded but still a nice place to visit for a very quick bite
Great lunch . Even better value. Falafel sandwich with the date-lime-banana smoothie is a winning combo.
The date, lime , and banana smoothie is out of this world. Get it with soy milk .
Check out the sabich sandwich . It's a nice change from the falafel - juicier, with a little kick to it. My new go to at Taïm.
Taim is known for falafels but their smoothies are great too! Get a banana date and lime smoothie with soy to pair with your sandwich !
You can substitute the israeli salad and pickled cabbage on the falafel sandwiches for eggplant at no extra charge! falafel + eggplant + tahini sauce = winning.
Taim's Sabich sandwich . Forget the falafel . It should be as popular as the falafel because it's better. Read more
Seriously can never go wrong with the falafel sandwich here. It's consistently delicious. Roasted red pepper and green falafel are the best!
Still the best Harissa falafel sandwich in manhattan. Great fries and for people watching too. Ask for some hot sauce !
Great neighborhood option for lunch -- tasty, filling, quick and relatively healthy.
The mixed falafel platter is a delicious, filling, and somewhat healthy-feeling lunch .
I walked in not knowing it was a vegetarian joint. I got the Harissa Falafel Sandwich . Great fresh ingredients , fair prices and fast friendly service .
Harissa falafel sandwich "with everything," plus extra pickles is my go-to. If you're not into spicy , then opt for the green falafel flavor.
The tradition green falafel pita et delicious and pretty cheap !
Delicious falafel , great customer service. Get the thyme mushroom special if you can!
My falafel was excellent. It was crowded and small, but it worked for us and what we needed.
The tahini Hannukah donuts sound good in principle but are a letdown. Donuts are not airy and properly risen, very little tahini cream filling. Cold, doughy sufganiyot
Best falafel and really cheap too, but they also have the really good kebab with nice chunks of meat - Greg B.
Can't go wrong with either the platter or soup sandwich specials. Anything with Fattoush is especially delicious. Cash only. - Whitney Baxter
I like the platters here, you can choose 2 bases of greens/rice/hummus. The baja is great. Super busy at lunch, place your order online for pick up and make sure to check in (right line)! - Celena Chan
If you love rice pudding and want to try other flavors of rice pudding, this is for you! Fun, clean atmosphere. The staff will let you sample some interesting flavors. Give it a try!! Arroz con leche! - Stella Ricci
Delicious cortado. Great quality coffee. Grab a cookie and snag a seat. Mirrors are special. Cool set up with interesting (but limited) seating. - Alexa Jane Brooks
