Exceptional! Stand outs are fried chicken , Angus wagyu , calamari , and for dessert , the banana soft serve and yuzu pudding . And I don't know how they do it, but they really get the lighting right.
Excellent Petuna Ocean Trout ! The Pork Katsu Steam Bun and Black Sesame Ice Cream Mochi were amazing! The Melon Sake Fingerlime Coconut Sorbet was good as well but I couldn’t taste the sake .
If you're hungry definitely go with one of the banquet options ???????? Haven't had a dinner this good in quite some time. Great quality, balance, and ambience.
Food is excellent (gluten free option available), minimalist interior design (love it), service is spot on. Order Black sesame ice cream mochi for dessert ! It’s amazing!!
Everything was tops. Loved the okra tempura , Hokkaido scallops , kingfish , konbu butter prawns , soy glazed Angus, and green tea soft serve
Nice date night spot . Enjoyed the sashimi , cocktails and prawns . Nice fit out. Did feel a bit jammed in at the bar but overall nice experience.
The new DEGUSTATION menu was great, winner was the grilled prawns . Mochi black sesame ice cream was beautiful
Great #japanese fusion try all their grills especially the prawn and their eggplant dish too
So good. Everything is good especially ocean trout , king prawns and green tea ice cream . So so so so so gooooood.
Delicious sashimi and angus wagyu . Casual modern decor but not a romantic venue for two.
Get the trout , miso cod , udon , and the banana soft serve ice cream ... Oh my belly!
Everything is Outstanding! Great flavour combinations. Huge sharing table at the front. Definitely sharing food
Really enjoyed the beef short rib and the green tea soft serve
Kombu prawns were great, grilled lamb was delicious. The snow peas was disappointing as was the king fish . Expected more for the price
Sashimi fresh, beef takaki melt in the mouth, king prawn in delicious sauce!
Ate everything & drank everything +best martini I've had in a long time ~get here ????????
Get the edamame dip , ocean trout , wagyu , and sticky date
All the food was amazing. You can't go wrong.
Good atmosphere and a quaint place for a date night . Very small portions even their mains was small. Apart from that the food was lovely but for that price range i would go elsewhere.
We love eating here, great food good service , good sake list.
We tried the whole prawns , kingfish sashimi , and chicken karaage . The prawns had little to no flavor. The sashimi was ok but nothing special. And the chicken was too big for chopsticks and too chewy.
Try just cocktails . How is possible Japanese restaurant doesn’t have nigiri and maki rolls ? No sense...
The kombu butter prawns . The. Kombu. Butter. Prawns .
Interesting Japanese fusion
We had banquet two and was quite disappointed in the quality and care put in each dish. Ocean trout was the only thing that was good, but everything else was sub par.
The "feed me now" set menu is amazing
Nice food, but for the price the portion sizes are a bit small.
Hokkaido scallops , pork katsu bun , silken tofu , miso eggplant and udon bolognese . Really nice meal and finished with a green tea cone that the little man adored.
Extra long wait for almost 35 minutes
20min wait at 810pm
A bit too much hyped
Sashimi are ok. Pretentious and overpriced place.
You MUST try the Yuzu. Outstanding citrus flavour explosion! - Stuart C
My God, the food is good. And totally unrecognisable from its American diner origins. Scampi - amazing; mac and cheese - awesome (although penne not mac); succotash - great; maple bacon - too salty :( - Brian
