Love stopping by here at Hermes. Good because you can still order the Oysters Rockafeller without having to dress up and to to Antoine's for a meal.
Try the Sazerac - the oldest cocktail ! And also very very strong (it's basically just whiskey )! Don't forget to do a room tour too!
Have a Cafe Brulot here. The presentation is great and the drink improves as it cools and the left over drink is even better. More cinnamon flavor comes through.
One of the more low key cocktail bars on Bourbon . Great if you aren't a fratboy. Great Sazerac .
Grab a drink and some popcorn . Its a good place for happy hour or pre-dinner drink.
Best bar in the French Quartet! Back again soon. Shirley, the waitress , will take care of you!

Pimm’s Cup is the perfect cocktail on a hot, steamy day in New Orleans. Very refreshing!
Enjoy a sazerac at Antoine's newest addition in their Hermes Bar which opened a few years ago. Their wood interior beckons with candle stick chandeliers and Antoine Krewe memorabilia in light boxes. Read more
Ask for Kevin to give you a tour . He's incredible, and the hidden rooms are filled with a who's who of American history, Mardi Gras secrets, and magic!
Soft shelled crab poboy with puffed potatoes and bernaise on the side...yum
Make a reservation for the Rex room! And have a Pimm 's cup at the bar while you wait
Definitely have Someone take u on the "secret room tour ". Little known fact: They invented the word "Appetizer" here
Prohibition era sazeracs
Make friends with bartender Jarius, he has a wealth of knowledge about the history of Antoine's.
Here, soufflé potatoes , puffed-up crisps served with rich béarnaise sauce , are crowned the world’s most elegant bar food.
A can't miss bar in NOLA! Great classic cocktails
I used to LOVE this place, but last time I went the usual bartenders weren't there and the service was terrible (not knowledgeable , slow, unfriendly). Will have to try it again.
Satisfy your gumbo craving here.
Enjoying a strong Rita.
Love this place!!

Order the amazing oysters 2 2 2 style and sample them all
Drinks cost 2-3x their worth. Don't waste your time.
Drinks cost 2-3x their worth. Don't waste your time.
Try the absynth
Rudest bartender ever
Not the best cocktails . Sound good but taste like half the ingredients are left out
Don't waste your time...oysters are sub-par at best...drinks are expensive .
We found this place randomly one night. Some of the cheapest and best high grade cocktails and bar food I've ever had. It's like a professional chef/mixologist took over a dive bar. Incredible. - Moe Williams
Love this classy ambiance! Great drinks. Preferred the 1840 sazerac over the original. - _
A Classic Cigar Bar with amazing cocktails.... so a must - Peter Dixon
The oysters Bienville are wonderful amazing delectable! - Meg
