There's a statue of General John J. "Blackjack" Pershing tucked away in this little park . With its maps also, it is the closest DC has to a World War I memorial.
Awesome tribute to Gen. Pershing. If you are looking for a WWI memorial that would be the tomb of the unknown at ANC.
This place is filled with rats at night.. Careful where you walk.. They scurry!!
