Same guys from midtown but in a brick and mortar store. Similar offering. Head to the back to order then bring to the side to pay. My go to is the small combo plater. $1 gets you the bigger platter.

The best. The famous spot from 53rd & 6th now has a brick & mortar place in the East Village . Chicken plate with white sauce and as much spicy red sauce as your taste buds can handle.

Great business choice to set up a store front for those who are leary of "roach coaches". The small platter is more than enough for one person, they give you A LOT of food for only $6

Cheap but extremely delicious. Regular platter can be shared by 2 people. Be careful of the red sauce it was incredibly hot ????

I prefer the chicken over the lamb , but get combo if you want to try both. Be sure to ask for extra white sauce (no regrets) and must try the BBQ sauce !!! Even if you're not usually a fan, it's great.

Besides their hallmark version of halal street meat ... They have multiple outlets along the side wall. Perfect for a charge up while you fuel up situation.

It's the thing you do in New York. Halal guys is ubiquitous with millennials in NYC. Cheap , good and fast food with lots of protein.

Drown your chicken & rice with the hot sauce . Add bit of their hot sauce as it’s killer! Glad they have a brick & mortar store but the food carts hit different.

Open late , great for a craving, they accept card . They give much less food than the cart and can sometimes have an attitude at checkout when wanting to use your rewards card.

Finally the cart has rolled downtown! This is wonderful news but dangerous to have it so close by. But perfect when you're craving some chicken and lamb on rice at 3:00 AM.

With a friend roll up and snag a combo. White sauce is critical and if you go for the red as well make sure you mix well . That stuff is hot.

Make sure you're going to the right Halal Guys. They are all yellow w/ a big flag. There's one with a smaller line at 53rd & 7th too

If you're of fan of spicy the red sauce is heaven, even then I'd say watch yourself or you'll end up spitting fire!

Red sauce is spicy as fuck. Chicken is surprisingly moist / crunchy, lamb is bomb, don't bother with the falafel - your drunk self will thank me later.

Get the regular platter . Can squeeze two meals out of it. Don't be a hero with the red sauce .

Chicken over rice , white and hot sauces , be careful with the hot sauce , hardos will not take heed of this warning and ruin their meal/their next trip to the toilet

Extra (free) red and white sauce are in a metal cooler attached to the cart . Just lift the lid, grab and go!
