A New Orleans must, fine creole dining at its best. Oysters Rockefeller are beyond this world. Men: Don't forget your blazer , you won't be seated without one
One of those places that you (in theory) need to go for classic cajun food . Service was fine but no passion in the food. The menu is from the 70’s - lots of mayo and thick sauces. You need to dress up
The Friday lunch in the downstairs dining room is one of the best dining experiences anywhere. Getting a table is another question (good question for a concierge )
I would have taken a picture of the Banana Praline Bread Pudding but there was nothing left! Amazing. I will come back for that alone...
Southern drawls bounce off the black-and-white checked floors and elegant mirrored walls as you soak up old-money New Orleans at its most raucous. Read more
Hands down the best meal I've had in New Orleans. Amazing steak prepared with mushroom , broccoli cheddar , crab and shrimp appetizer , French 75 and Kentucky reserve
Classic high end New Orleans food and atmosphere. A cross between 5 star elegance and a place where you walk and talk to folks. The Poisson Meunière Amandine and Oysters Rockefeller are to die for.
Amazing. The soft shelled crab is delicious, the oysters Rockefeller are wonderful, and the bananas foster is a treat!!
We had the: escargot , crab maison , oysters Rockefeller , sweet potato cheesecake . They were all WONDERFUL and my kids loved them too. The place has a little wait but you can get a drink. A great meal

Truly family owned with authentic southern hospitality . Gorgeous dining room. Souffle potatoes w remoulade are a must try
Gumbo , filet mignonette, crabmeat Yvette, bread pudding ... all phenomenal. One of the best restaurants I’ve been to.
I had been really excited, but eaten at better fine dining establishments in New Orleans. Glad I went once but won’t again
Stop by and try one of my personal signature cocktails , the 'Mona Lisa' and 'Fleur de Lisa' are growing more and more popular every Friday!
The Oysters Rockefeller are not to be missed at this old-school New Orleans institution.
Old school, elegant restaurant . Great special occasion venue. Loved the bone marrow appetizers
Beautiful space! Got the oysters Rockefeller based on everyone's suggestions but I think it's an acquired taste
Get here early on Friday for lunch , because you'll be dining with the New Orleans business elite. French-Creole classics are on the menu here, like thick, peppery gumbo and steak with bearnaise sauce .
Alright, alright, alright. Agree that savory menu lacks excitement. But. The desserts , namely the sweet potato cheesecake and the bread pudding were.... memorable. I plan to return just for them.
Fun restaurant in the French quarter! Great food too!
Try the Godchaux Salad - Bit like a shrimp cocktail meets a chef salad . Shrimp , anchovies , tomato , egg , tangy mustard dressing .
Good/very good food, service so so...Jacket on Sunday required...come on! This is bourbon street!

Wasn't a huge fan of the place, but they make a good pimm's cup and they have fried oysters and good crawfish étouffée

this place is a new Orleans must despite the Bourbon St address it is a very classy establishment with excellent food & service.
We got here at 11:35 am on a Friday and could not get seated. Had to put our Names down for a 2 hour wait. We should have come by around 10 am and put our names on the list.
Wonderful food and atmosphere, dress well and males have to wear a jacket (they will lend you one).
Best restaurant and service in NOLA. Period.
We had dinner here and was extremely impressed with the food and it wasn't as pricey as other places. Guys must wear a jacket of some sort, sports coat, suite coat for example.
If soft shells are in season, you will not be disappointed. And, if the mood strikes you, enter the flaming world of the Cafe Brulot head out.
Go more for the scenery and people watching than the food. A drink and snack and you'll feel like royalty.
best brunch ! most amazing Bloody Mary bar and live music !!
Sweet potato cheesecake and the bread pudding--go for those two things
This place has the best gumbo in town ! Now, get it ON with those crabs ! Read more

Foie Gras appetizer was decadent and is a must.
prime rib is among the best I've ever had!!
I felt like I was back in slavery days while dining here. The vintage decor , the black wait staff ....but all in all it was decent.

The service here is always unparallel. Remember that sport jackets are required to dine here.
VERY old school. Excellent food, but an older crowd.
Fancy dinner spot - get ready to drop some $, but worth it.
