Waimea Bay is a beach North Shore Hale‘iwa located in United States.
61-031 Kamehameha Hwy Hale‘iwa , HI 96712 United States
One of the prettiest beaches I have ever been to. Crystal clear water and no waves in the summer. Jump off the rock cliff on the left or just spend the day wading in the water. Rock climbing too!
A busy beach , yet so worth it. Careful pulling into the parking lot , it can be a sharp turn. Get here early to find parking and a great beach spot . Family friendly and life guards are stationed here.
Legendary surfer and lifeguard Eddie Aikau patrolled the waters at Waimea Bay starting in 1968. Not a single life was lost while he was on duty, sometimes braving waves over 30 feet tall.
Beautiful spot to set up for the day and enjoy some great swelling waves. Crystal blue water and just gorgeous. Jump off the rock at either low or high spots...it’s a good time.
It's hard to find a good place to swim without the high waves in Oahu, but this bay is really nice. Get here by 10 for a parking spot and brave the surf to have a great day here.
I loved to swim here in the summer. The waster was cool, no waves and really nice :)
Famous for big waves in the right conditions, it's also a great family spot . If you're brave enough, climb the big rock (left side) and jump off into the warm north shore water.
A lot of people in the water, and then some jumping off the rock. Wide beach with coarse sand, very good amenities and parking
Beautiful beach , very hard to find parking . Also great for little kids
Beautiful spot, but go early in the morning, very hard to park ! The water is so pristine, you can see fish and turtles here!
Cool little bay with waves that can break at a height of 10 meters!
The beach itself is lovely but its filled with a bunch of college girls and bros, all yearning for attention.
Perfect for a beach day! Shore breaks, cliff jumping and climbing . All located in a scenic bay with beautiful view .
The swimming is awesome when it's flat... Go out to the rocks past the jump off rock and swim across the bay .. Amazing views
It's a very nice beach , but the waves are huge. Maybe not the best place for kids to swim . The lifeguard even announced it over a loud speaker.
Favorite Beach when the waves are up or down. But love to jump the rocks when the tide is right.
Great swimming in the summer, surfing in the winter. Big beach . Lots of room..and the famous jumping rock - you gotta do it!
This is simply AWESOME!!! Nothing to fear... land on your feet and you'll be just fine. The bottom is very soft sand , no rocks. You haven't lived til you've done this!!!
Cliff jumping is a must
Drive up and park at the St Peter & Paul Church for $5 if you can't find parking ... which is usually the case.
You can jump of the cliff to the left!
Beautiful sandy beach . The swimming is usually good although there is a steep drop off making bodysurfing a little painful (but still doable)
Go to Waimea Bay and swim in the sea. *Summer time is the best as the water is smooth and glass-like* Jump off the Waimea rock for a rush of adrenaline that is sure to keep you coming back~
Beautiful, warm water, puffy sand.
Aweeome rocks to jump off of. Other than that, I would recommend finding other beaches
Beautiful place :))) there is a rock for dive :))) and u can swim with turtles :)))
Cliff jumping is a must. Try not to break anything.
One of the most beautiful places on the island . Rainbow here above the mountains ..
Parking in the lot can be difficult. I usually park on the highway. My favorite beach on the island .
Jump the rock. Swim under the rock. Swam with Dolphins. Best beach in my life
Jump off da rock, boogie board , swim or just sleep and get a tan . Clean facilities , showers , fun to watch the shark bait!
If you don't mind walking, park just off the main road on the street instead of fighting for parking in the tiny lot
Park at Waimea Valley if you're coming to watch the waves. $5 saves you some parking stress.
Visit the Falls!! Such a tranquil place...Darren the guard is the sweetest ever...:)
Beautiful beach
The park on the mountainside is wonderful too
Surfing , sunbathing , parties & swimming .
Beautiful beach . Sadly have been hit on by too many bros and losers. Not nearly as peaceful as other beaches .
My Auntie Maile used to jump off this to get the coral near the bottom. Used to be legal back then, =)
Cliff jumping !!!! A must do!
If you go on the right day, you might see Rusty the dog jump with you!
Nice bay to relaxed. During big waves season, the beach might be closed, but we can still watch those surfers out there while sunbathing :)
Be sure to jump off of the 30 ft cliff!
Park up the street at the church , bring a 24 pack of beer get drunk then jump off the huge rock into the ocean.... def way fun
My favorite beach on the entire island . Jump off the rock!
If you're thinking abt jumping and a little scared, the problem is you're thinking about it. JUST DO IT!
Snorkeling to the far right of beach amazing fish to see
Beautiful beach .
Dolphins! But be respectful, just let them be.
Get here by 10am to find parking
Good tide pools to the left, good snorkeling and diving in the cove. Great place for a beginner scuba diver to practice--wide and sandy bottom to play over. Fun for night dives with a full moon! - AlohaKarina ????????????
Good snorkeling, but it can get crowded. The cove is very shallow and walkable all around. Just make sure not to walk on the coral. - Jordan Shotwell
So beautiful and quaint. Saw so many surfers far into the ocean. I didn't have a chance to go late in the afternoon to see the turtles sleeping but I did get to see them swimming near the rocks! - Jess Kono
Worth the line as they are masters of the shave ice treat. - Jeremia Schrock
Stayed in a beach house right on the Pipeline. It was beautiful and peaceful. Watching surfing all day long. - Marcy Maxwell
get the roasted sweet corn - it's expensive at $3 a piece, but it's SO good! - Irene Liu
