A fabulous gym & pool in the city , with great options for classes throughout the day. The staff are incredibly lovely, too. It's pleasure to work out and swim here. Great, new facilities - no-frills!
The spot for 7am basketball games. A group of friendly guys run m-f, with the older gents playing Tu/Th and the more sprightly ones m/w/f. Find them at the Chinatown ymca until 2018, though.
It has an old school vibe similar to the one on 63rd st.
Great place to work out, hang, etc. steam room is great, especially in winter. Clean and friendly . Pool is nice; a little intimidating if you're slower than most, so don't let anyone push you around!
SO clean/nice. Indoor track , separated cardio & weight area, basketball court w/ handball wall. Big locker rooms . Steam&sauna. They offer student discount ! I often eat@sitting area on my lunch break.
A great family-friendly gym - integrating fitness into the family routine make a huge difference and sets great, healthy examples for all family members!
While it’s one of the best pools in the city , it’s generally overcrowded and not great for a serious workout. Day passes are $25.
Likely location of where Moe Green met his doom in the steam room , in The Godfather
It's brightly lit pool has 7 lanes, 3ft to 9ft deep. Also has a spacious locker room .
The best place on the hood to run on indoor track , swimming and play basket ball in the morning. Get crowded with kids after 11:00am, a total nightmare after 05:00pm!
Even when it is packed I still manage to find a machine. The pool can be a nightmare , however. Seek out Louis-he'll give you the grand tour .
Dear Mgmt: when you run an establishment like a not-for-profit and charge like a business you risk losing those members who pay full price...time for a reality check.
Best fitness staff in city

The pool is empty Sunday mornings before 9am.
No one in the pool at 9pm!
here each day at 5:30 AM - Gail may be the friendliest person in NYC
My gym ! Great yoga classes . Read more
stare at the ground when you're in the shower
Keep your kids out of the steam room
Overcrowded. Here's your tip, join another place for same price.
Most annoying pool ever. There's always scuba diving lessons, or people bobbing up and down pointlessly in an "exercise" class . Plan on sharing your lane with lots of other people. Fuck this place.
