Oh my words! I can't explain how amazing the food here. Literally can't go wrong with anything! The carb cheesecake is a must tho. One annoying thing is that the extra crab on your dish is for $16.
This place is classy and food was amazing. Don't let the crab cake cheesecake name fool you. It's AMAZING. Not actually a "cheesecake " just looks like one.
Came here to cool off, went up stairs to the bar and did not want to leave! Great service, live music ! ????????
Went 9 guys for a bachelor party for a nice dinner on our first night in NOLA. There were no complaints about anything. The service was attentive, the place is beautiful and the food was amazing.
Sat on the sidewalk patio . Amazing service. They can't light the bananas foster outside, so out waiter brought his cart around to the window behind us so we could watch!
Crabmeat cheese cake and BBQ shrimps are just sssoooooo good. You NEED to try it! Andouille cristal Fish totally rocks as well .
The steak and shrimp was delicious! And now having the double dark chocolate brownie !! Mmmm.... Sat by the kitchen and was able to watch the chefs at work!!
Check out Palace Cafe as it was featured on Delicious Destinations for Palace Café serves its world-famous bananas Foster with all the theatrics of a Mardi Gras parade . Read more
The only thing more amazing than the food was the service! Shawnette and Eugene did a fantastic job. We even got a history lesson while Shawnette prepared the Bananas Foster .
I got the wicked delicious drink, I wouldn't recommend it - the cinnamon was overwhelming, crab claws app was unremarkable, but the pecan catfish was great, plus the bananas foster for dessert
You can't go wrong with the fish dishes , especially the andouille-crusted fish or pecan-crusted catfish ! Also great NOLA classic desserts : bread pudding and bananas foster .
Crab Cheesecake are amazing. Who would have thought.
I had the ribeye and shrimp dinner , this was the best meal I have had this year, steak seared to perfection and jumbo shrimp were perfect
For brunch do not sleep on the Cafe Benedict. Also, save room for dessert and go with the Cheesecake made with fresh seasonal fruit and Cajun cream cheese !
For Lunch the Crab Quiche ' was excellent. Rory at the bar was great to help get our to go order ready. The Palace Punch nice is a refreshing drink . Enjoyed it.

Late lunch - delish! BBQ shrimp was good but couldn't bring myself to suck the head like a local! The shrimp "t-funk" (as they refer to it in the kitchen) was delicious!

Ask for Suzanne, she's great! Lovely presentation for the whole meal. Great food: We tried the lamb and garlic gumbo and the Brie and apple salad .
Kim is the best bananas foster flambé person ever - you have to order it. Comes with homemade vanilla bean ice cream .
It says five for five. It's five DOLLARS for FIVE DIFFERENT ITEMS. So you're spending at least $25. WOW. I enjoy shopping divey places for a reason.
Really lovely servers and i heard they had a great brunch . Unfortunately they only serve it on Sundays and their breakfast menu is ridiculously sparse.
Had the first item of shrimp which I cant pronounce and it was delicious. Cajun and creole flavors :) loved it
Try the duck and the crab cheese cake ????????... One of the best place for food in NOLA
The bananas foster prepared in flames at your table can be shared by two. The show is well worth the reasonable price.
Believe what they say about the Bananas Foster . It's true. It's all true! ????????????
The yogurt parfait and eggs Benedict are superb! Also try the strawberry shortcake for dessert .
The food is awesome, and the stuff they’re very welcoming
Turtle soup , roasted duck gumbo , pecan catfish , and white chocolate French bread pudding . Love this place
Seafood gumbo and Brie fondue were incredible.
One of our favorites in New Orleans- great for lunch , dinner or just dessert !
Get the frozen bananas foster cocktail .
Impeccable service with an excellent, traditional cuisine experience that truly compliments New Orleans.
Try the Bbq Shrimp , Oyster Loaf, & Crabmeat Cheesecake - Yummy apps!
Great place to go by yourself and sit at the bar for lunch or dinner if you are solo at a conference
Palace Cafe has the best sweet potatoes in New Orleans. Fun place when it is warm to sit on the street and watch the people. Right on Canal Street, it is a great New Orleans venue.
I really enjoyed a business dinner here recently. Nice atmosphere on the bottom floor.
Enjoyed everything, except, one of the servers (Keyshawn?) needs a little more training in extending good customer service.
New Orleans Pain Perdu was excellent!
Try the Banana 's Foster - Table side made! Great presentation!
