The Savoy Grill

Auguste Escoffier invented the Peach Melba at the Savoy Hotel in 1893, dessert of peaches , vanilla ice cream and raspberry sauce . The Savoy Grill sometimes offers it in radically altered form.

Red wine glazed feather blade of beef , marrowbone, gremolata and crispy onions must try. Recommended for special occasions .

Gordon Ramsay’s Menu. The omelette as an appetizer was quite exceptional and tasty. The lobster soup was okay. The rib eye steak was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. Very fancy and expensive

Never been disappointed in the Savoy grill. Very good service , very attentive staff and good food. Table density is a little high though.

amazing shellfish bisque and foie gras for starters, beautiful juicy and tender sirloin steak and a succulent cooked to perfection lamb wellington for entrees, waiters have a sense a humour too :)

Food and service exceeded my expectations. Crab and Froi gra then gineau foul and porc. Wine supurb recommended by the glass for the main. Great cocktails to kick off with.

Beef wellington (medium well ) is excellent. There were 2 waiters serving us and we liked the authenticity and the elegant style of the restaurant .

The food is excellent but the quality and attentiveness of service has gone downhill since our last visit. Treat yourself to the chateaubriand - perfectly cooked meat perfection!

A very nice experience overall. Although the sirloin steak was a tad tough it was cooked to perfection. Loved the desserts !!

You get what you pay for. Best meal I've ever had in London (so far).

The interior design is beautiful, the rest is disappointing: food is not more than OK but overpriced, the service is abysmal. On a Saturday night you can watch lot of strange, newly rich groups.

The fillet on the bone, kale with mushrooms and roasted root vegetables were all delicious. Great service and a beautiful room.

The tables for two near the entrance are like sitting in a cafeteria they are so close together. Ask for a table at the other end of the restaurant .

When booking , tell them any food allergies you may have and they will accommodate. They served me gluten free bread !
