Be sure to visit at low tide and wear some sturdy beach shoes so you can walk out amongst the big rocks separating the two beaches to discover tidal pools of anemones, crabs and sea stars!

It was really cold when we visited, but still some people swim . Lovely place for weekend trip. Also it is very close to Muir Woods.

Sarah Beth Jennings

Beautiful view of huge crashing waves. Take the trail on the left past the beach to the bluff right there for another breathtaking view .

Very nice beach . Not crowded . Great hiking as well .

I prefer Muir to Stinson Beach . It's really nice and quiet here. Feels a bit more secluded in this small bay .

The drive from the Golden Gate Bridge to this beach might have been the most fun I've ever had behind the wheel... The drive isn't for the faint of heart, though.

David Coronado

Small local beach that isn't "touristy". Climb over the rocks north to the smaller beach it feels like a secret/personal beach .

Gorgeous!!! Wasn't too crowded either. People were nice and after you have fun in the sun stop at the Pelican Pub for a pint!

Toes in the water, ass in the sand.

Une très belle petite plage mais aussi le point de départ d'une balade en surplomb de l'océan ; vous pourrez même apercevoir San Francisco sur votre chemin
