Jongmyo

While there are set tour times and you can't enter without a tour , there is an exception: Saturday's the shrine is open. Note with a tour , you must keep with the group so not much freedom to wander.

This was a primary place of worship for kings throughout the Joseon Dynasty and has been registered as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site.

We went on a winter Saturday and there was very few people, which was great. Beautiful architecture and a very serene atmosphere.

You have to join a tour to enter. English tours are at 10am, noon, 2pm and 4pm. Tours take an hour. You can join any tour every 20 mins but there is a LOT of talking and not many sign boards for info

Quite place, with lots trees and plants... Strongly recommend visit in a raining day

It would be great to be able to exit at the north end and go right into the Royal Palace ... Don't try to reach the north gate, big waste of time.

Jongmyo is a shrine to the spirits of the Chosun Dynasty. This astonishing building has a history dating back to 1392. Visitors can’t use the main entrance. That’s reserved only for spirits.

It's a calm area with few tourist . However don't try to go to the north side because the entrance is the exit.

Tapınak dediğin tam da böyle olur. İçindeki ağaçlar ve göletlerle tam bir huzur mabedi.

유네스코 문화유산. 조선 27대 임금 가운데 연산군. 광해군을 제외하고 추존된 임금과 왕비의 신주를 모셔놓은 국가급 사당. 아직도 때맞춰 제사를 지내고 있는 현재진행형 역사의 현장

Святилище совсем не впечатляет, хоть и входит в список ЮНЕСКО. Да, вполне необычная усыпальница ванов и их жен, но не особо интересное место. Вход дешевый (1000w - взрослый, 500w - ребенок).

주중에는 정해진 투어 시간에만 관람이 가능합니다. 토요일은 자유 투어가 가능하다고 하네요.

決まった時刻にガイド付で入らなければいけないのが、最初は面倒に感じます。しかし、ガイドの話を聞くと、どれだけここが凄いのかが分かります。満足度に対して、入場料が激安 のW1,000！

홈페이지에 들어가시면 자유관람이 가능한 날을 달력으로 보실 수 있습니다. 꼭 토요일만 자유관람되는게 아닙니다.

종묘 위쪽의 율곡로는 공사중이라 한 개의 입구만 이용가능합니다(작성일 : 2016/04/27)
