Great for anyone who wants to acclimate to the local weather, enjoy the beach , snorkel , scuba , and shop. Can't do without AC ? Go elsehere. Beautiful, lush gardens . Beautiful beach . Great location.
It's a nice cozy hotel that has kitchens in all the rooms so you can save some $$$ instead of eating out. Buildings 8 & 9 are nice as they are relatively close to the beach and are quiet .
The room was just fine, not as extravagant as other places but has a home feel. The only problem is if you want to go to the beach you can't really do it here, you're on a incline with not much beach .
Love this place! 4th time staying h here and every time is better. Staff is wonderful, rooms are nice, convenient to the beautiful beach , and restaurants .
Great rooms and grounds. Be mindful of Thursdays which are apparently maintenance days. Our trip had two very loud and very unexpected chainsaw days. A little notice would have been nice.
Our 2 bedroom unit in Bldg 12 is beautiful. Very well maintained and has a lovely island feel. Only condo complex on a swimmable beach . Love it so much I want to buy it!!
Glorious days in the sun and nights under the stars. Try the classic Blue Hawaiian - martini style, at the Plantation Gardens Restaurant .
This is one of the most beautiful places in Hawaii. The grounds are great, the views of the ocean awesome.
Beautiful property and great beach here and many nearby. No longer have a pool for guests use.
This place is amazing. On Thusdays they have beautiful wedding ceremonies by local spiritual leader Rev Kauilani Kahalekai in the plantation garden . It is a paradise of orchids & tropical colors!
Great family atmosphere ! Use the community bbq grills to cook up a homestyle grilled feast! Great way to meet new people.
Wonderful white-sand beach and fresh sea-breezes cooling your unit through louver windows. If you want an A/C poolside Kauai experience, look elsewhere.
Michael, Oddly enough, I do believe we are staying in the exact room you were in when you took this picture. 213 ring a bell?
Lovely place to stay.
Depends on what u like. Ceiling fans, slots in winddows, and an outdoors feeling. If u r expecting the Hyatt u will b disappointed. I love it.
Best beach in Kauai - tops in the islands by me!
We stay here every trip!.. The best!!
As everybody states .....if you need ac , go elsewhere!
Room was very nice, but garden level unit was miserably hot. Without a/c in August is ridiculous. No breeze. Don't do it!
our room was nice
Our room had no AC , no breeze, and smelled of mildew. The pool is gross, and the pool bathroom was as bad as an NYC subway station restroom . Never staying here again!
For only $15 for the week you can rent snorkeling gear! Lots of beautiful fish in the bay! My kids are loving it! - Liliana Miranda
Slide, summer roll, .50 cent wings and Oreo cookie drink..yum and fun - Francesca Ferdenzi
Service pool side and valet were unmatched. Good food and drink at pool. Helpful surf lesson staff too. Wonderful hotel to stay. - Jeffrey Bytomski
Great for people watching, not so much for serenity. Beautiful beach. - Tim In The House
Baby friendly lagoon near the playground (opposite Brennecke's restaurant). Great for kids; great for people who might not be too comfortable in water. - Chilumba
Sunset menu is an amazing deal! $22 for a starter, entree, and dessert. All the food was amazing. Best I've had on kauai. Dinosaur kale salad was out of this world! - Terry Nodine
