The Gemäldegalerie is a huge museum with a LOT of old paintings . The Dutch masters can be found in the back. Also Rembrandt and Vermeer here!

Famously void of tourists if you want to avoid the crowds. One of the best Old Master collections in Europe. Don't miss the Caravaggio, Cecco, Correggio (seriously hot Leda with an even hotter swan)

Defenitly take the audio guide! Available in different languages. Otherwise you'll miss a whole lot of really interesting details! And also take a map at the entrance, else you easily get lost.

It's really big-you need several hours to see all the paintings . They offer also activities for children from time to time.

Old Masters Painting Gallery . With some 16 works by Rembrandt , the Gemäldegalerie presides over one of the largest and most exquisite collections in the world.

Check the guide for the artists to look for within the certain exhibit rooms. The ceiling of the gods is spectacular. Audio tour is very informative.

Take a rest every hour or so, there are glass balconies at the corners of the buliding, which give your eyes a chance to wander off into distance, trust me, it will rejuvinate your visual "harddrive".

Some great Dutch and Italian paintings . Bad sides: all info is only in German, except a couple of texts translated into English. The staff are like prison officers !! ????

Amazing collection! Don't forget to pick up a map, otherwise you will get lost quickly in the 72 or so rooms.

Great museum with a super permanent exhibition , just for that painting selection it's worse to visit.

I had no idea this place was so large. You need at least two hours to get through the whole thing, especially if there's a special exhibit .

Great collection, but they close 10 minutes prior to stated closing time. Arrive in advance to fully enjoy it

Man wird fast erschlagen von der riesigen Auswahl an Gemälden aus der Renaissance. Definitiv einen Besuch wert. Deutlich weniger überlaufen im Vergleich zur Museumsinsel.

Отличная коллекция европейской живописи 13-19 век . До начала февраля можно посмотреть Босха, копии Босха и уникальные черновики. Эта галлерея обязательна для посещения.

Отличная картинная галерея , хотя и несколько сумбурно организованная. Чтобы найти главные шедевры придётся побегать. Галерея этажом ниже открыта только по пятницам-воскресеньям. Можно быстро забежать.

O melhor museu de arte de Berlim é dedicado à arte europeia entre os séculos XIII e XIX, incluindo obras de Caravaggio, Dürer, Rembrandt, Rubens, Bruegel, entre outros.

Замечательное собрание картин практически со всего мира. Персонал не очень вежлив. Цена могла быть несколько ниже.

Free WiFi / gratis WLAN . Und wenn die Schlange an der Kasse mal zu lang ist, gibt's Tickets auch im benachbarten Kunstgewerbemuseum ;-)

Очень богатый музей (Рубенс, Тициан, Рембрандт , Каоаваджо, Босх и т.д.), но совершенно неизвестный по сравнению с другими картинными галереями .

От количества и качества этих картин очень скоро становится плохо :)

Die Gemäldegalerie befindet sich im Kulturforum.

Tolle Sammlung, aber sehr unfreundliches Kassenpersonal (wie fast in allen Berliner Museen ). Ziemlich krasse Preise (nicht mal Sonntags gibts Ermäßigungen!). Die Präsentation kommt altbacken daher.

По четвергам работает до 10 вечера. Много итальянцев - сразу у входа зал Ботичелли.
