Touting itself as “one of the most popular restaurants in America” (we don’t necessarily disagree), Boulevard is among the best places in the City to close a business deal or a new romance. Read more

Pork chop ! Delicious! Was the waitress recommendation. The meat was really well cooked and juicy. Creative flavour, lovely bittersweet touch. Loved the fried onion .

Ashok Lalwani

Ask for the Vegetarian options . It is off menu . Delicious food, amazing cocktails , great ambience. Desserts are too die for here. My wife loved them so much that she ordered 4 different ones.

Jordan M

Stuffed squash blossoms at this SF institution are a thing of fried beauty. Also: halibut , risotto , burger .

Hina Willis

Great place. Loved the food. The ambience was great and very convenient. I liked the overall feel and will definitely go again. Highly recommended.

Wood-oven roasted pork chop is always on the menu, but accompaniments change; recently it was gnochetti with wild boar Bolognese with rosemary chocolate and truffled pecorino cheese . Read more

2016Chron100: Specialties: Dungeness crab salad ; local petrale sole with changing accompaniments; wood-oven roasted pork chop ; any dessert . Woah yum Californian!

Jessica Langston

The petrole sole was delicious. Also tried the lobster bisque , nice.

Alex Volkov

Everything is amazing, we had a set course, and everything from the hors d'oeuvres to the entrees to the service, to the bar .

Ben Barclay

Honestly, it feels like this institution is resting on its laurels. Presentation is great, but taste, (lack of) creativity, and service doesn’t merit the price premium. Beautiful restaurant setting.

Hannah GM

Truly excellent food, and a great wine list to boot. Be sure to start with the crab and avocado appetizer !

Lauren

The steak melts in your mouth. Dress up nice and don't be late for your reservation . This place is high class , high quality - so go with high expectations.

Fran Su

Tuna tartar was quite good. Liked how they balanced textures between crunch seaweed and the tartart.

Brittany Sübers

I went here for a private event . The risotto was great and so are the salads . Not sure there’s enough vegetarian options for me to return.

Dimitri Popov

The restaurant clearly deserves to be named one of the best, if not simply the best, restaurants in San Francisco thanks to its service , attitude, cooking and atmosphere

Esin Imer

The food is so delicious! Try out the swordfish if you like fish . When it comes to cocktails , the mojito is really good!

Hanh Le

The Filet Mignon , Moscow Mule , Golden Boy Smash, and truffle tagliatelle were amazing!!!

James H

Seared sea scallops , fresh shelling bean, lobster mushroom , chorizo , blurred fondue .

Karelia Vargas

Parking is hard here so I recommend valet parking , which is right up front. Also great starters!

Octopus . That is all you need to know. Baller wine list and the sommelier is AMAZING.

Cameron Parker

The short rib was excellent. Good selection of wine and cocktails as well .

Melon L

Amazing wine menu . Get crab , ahi anything and of course, the porkchops .

David Asheim

Always excellent. Menu changes daily and all great including pork chop !

The scallops were delicious. The service was OK. The interior is beautiful.

Mallory Stanton

Had the truffled sea scallops and wild salmon . All was divine and the service was impeccable.

Hana Na

Feeling hungry, crabby, and douchey ? :) Their soft shell crab is ridiculously tasty. Order it and save some for me. No, actually... Invite me immediately!

Bloomingdale's

Like its much-vaunted wine vault , this Embarcadero icon only improves with age. If the Art Nouveau décor doesn’t get you, Nancy Oakes ’ cuisine and the sweet staff serving it surely will.

Gavin McMillan

Fantastic, a great place. Wine selection was awesome. Highly recommended...

Papa S

Expensive and worth it. Delicious Filet Mignon . Good cocktails and great service.

Angela Z.

The swordfish was *excellent*. Highly recommend! Probably best for an expense account meal.

Jacques Chirac

Good and consistent execution. French cuisine with a Californian touch. Worth the expense .

Melissa Dagdagan

Definitely one of my favorite Michelin-starred restaurants . Order something from each course. Go big or go home!

Gilt City

Chef Oakes invites Gilt City members to the 24th annual Star Chefs & Vintners Gala on May 15. Aside from great food and a good cause, an opulent goodie bag brings the celebration home.

Ben Coffee

Perfect service, elegant atmosphere, exquisite food. Great for a special occasion .

James H

Wood oven roasted chicken salad . Lots of goodness in there.

Rob Greenleaf

Get the Moscow Mule . They do it right and serve it up in a chilled copper cup!

Geof Lambert

Best over all restaurant in SF...you can't go wrong with anything on that menu...if you want a cool private dinning experience the Wine Vault Room is awesome.

Jessica Tarleton

A lot of great whiskey and bourbon . Also, great dessert

Jessica Chan

You will not go wrong with the foie gras , porcini and poached egg , and lobster ravioli . decadent and delicious.

Joe Russoniello
