Be sure to try Love Letters to New Orleans. It may seem like a girly drink on the front end, but the flavor combinations make an excellent drink. The bar staff are very friendly .
Gerald French and the Original Tuxedo Jazz Band is so worth visiting the Jazz Playhouse for. In between sets go check out the “secret courtyard garden ” within the hotel .

Nice upscale jazz . No cover on a Wednesday - just minimum one drink per set (2 sets total). There is a pillar in the middle of the room so arrive early for good seats.
Best thing about Bourbon Street! Classy , intimate and weekend shows are free, but drinks are not. Leave your cash safe at home or the hotel and use your Regions Visa CheckCard to enjoy the show.
Experiencing Leon "Kid Chocolate " Brown & his wonderful quartet on Friday nights from 8 - 12 is the best way to spend a sultry Friday night in New Orleans.

Get here early to get a good seat There is a large column in te middle of the room. Blocks part of the stage if you sit in the wrong place.
