Deacon Brodie's Tavern

Love this pub . Try haggis , cullen skink, and pies , all delicious. Also try local Scottish crafts/ales, I recommend Fraoch - heather ale .

A very central pub on The Royal Mile quite close to Edinburgh Castle . Should stop by for a grab of beer after a walk in the Old Town and the Royal Mile.

Very good food, comically bad service upstairs in the dining room. Don't come here if you're in a hurry, but order the fish n chips or one of their savory pies .

Head upstairs for a nice atmosphere and good food, friendly cheery and good service . Not particularly quick good food at reasonable price.

Deacon Brodie was the inspiration for Stevenson's Dr. Jerkyll and Mr. Hyde. Enjoy haggis and myths about the dichotomic Scot.

Great burger ,juicy beef . Fish and chips also very good. Polite staff , but it's kind of expensive .

The food is good. The tables upstairs are 1st come 1st serve.. keep this in mind if you are a large party

Salted Caramel Profiteroles!!! Also the Mac and cheese was pretty good. Super nice staff .

Ginger beer , calamari and food in general is delicious! But be quick, they run out of Huggies really quickly!

Not as fancy as we hoped TBH. A standard Nicholson boozer. Ladies toilets were a bit gross. Good gin selection . Lavish ceiling (pictured)

Always packed - the staff are cheery and helpful and keep the queue moving fast though

Very touristic place. Not cheap . Not very testy just normal. Big queue. But good choice of festival ales and good view form window ))

My fist haggis , yummy. Ice-cold beer , nice service. Craig ferguson wasn't here though :-P

Don't come here if you have anywhere else to be within 2 hours. We've been waiting at the table for an hour and still haven't gotten our food.

La cerveza es promedio, la atención buena pero recomendaría mas otros bares cercanos. Tiene buena valoración pero sinceramente no regresaría.
